I needed this battery for the backup system in my house alarm. I knew that the alarm company charges $70 for a service call, so I decided to see if I could find one for sale. Of course, Amazon came through, and their partner Arrowhead Company also came through. I ordered the battery on Monday, and it arrived ahead of schedule on Wednesday, saving me the price of a service call, and likely a higher price for the battery. If this one lasts as long as the last one, I'll be really happy.

My old battery worked in security system at least five years until yellow light appeared on the touchpad. I ordered this new one, it was shipped pretty fast. I received thing in four days. I connected battery to where it belongs, in few hours yellow light went off... so it works for now. How good this battery will be? I can tell you in five years, just wait a little...

Was happy to find this on Amazon, a visit to our local "electronics superstore" turned up nothing. The battery in our home alarm system was dying (and setting off the alarm every 12 hours, tons of fun). Thankfully this arrived in a few days and did the trick. It took about 12 hours for the "system battery low" warning to stop, I think the system had to reset itself. Oh, and we totally had to get a locksmith to open the alarm box after losing the key. Awesome.

I used this product to replace the original baterry on my alarm system, I checked Youtube just to make sure I wouldn't reset the alarm settings and as long as you have electricity while replacing the batery that will not happen. It did take it about 3 days to fully charge and to eliminate the failure notification beep.
Replacement process is easy, I just needed a screw driver to open the panel and the replacement don't requires any tools.

I suppose the best thing I can say about this battery is that it sure beats paying $50 for ADT to come and put a new one in my alarm system! The funny thing is that this was the EXACT battery Brinks had replaced for free 3 years ago when they were still my service provider. So basically, ADT was going to pocket nearly $40 on the battery alone for sending a guy to my house and doing 30 seconds worth of work. Do yourself a favor and save some cash by ordering this one and doing it yourself! It was as easy as loosening the screw that holds my box closed, unplugging 2 prongs and removing the old battery and reconnecting this one. Best of all, I didn't even charge myself a service call. ;)

This was an exact replacement for my old dead battery in my ADT alarm system. It took about 12 hrs. to fully charge (the low batt warning to disappear) and has been working perfectly for 3 months now. Will definitely buy these the next time for replacement. They were also several mahr larger than the old ones so more capacity
