I like the general design and utility of this product but the shaft is so poorly secured into the handle that it turns easily if you need to wiggle the head or twist it to work under a tack or ease it loose. My guess is that the shaft will come apart from the handle before long with any prolonged use. If you are going to use the tool more than once, spend more money and get something that will work well and last.

I purchased 2 of these, was using one on removing staples and the first time I pulled the handle became loose. Its cheaply made and I don't think it should be recommended for a do it your selfer. The metal part is strong but the wood handle isn't very well attached.
