I used these and other pellets in a .22 cal Benjamin Trail NP XL Air Rifle air rifle at 10 meters after the gun was broken in with a couple hundred shots. I compared accuracy (and to a lesser degree penetration) of the following pellets:

Skenco Heavy Long-Range .22 Cal, 16.7 Grains, Pointed, Lead-Free, 90ct
JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.13 Grains, Domed, 250ct
RWS Meisterkugeln Standard .22 Cal, 14.0 Grains, Wadcutter, 250ct
Crosman .22-Cal Hollow Point Hunting Pellets.

The RWS Wadcutters were the most accurate pellet in the group. Their flat-heads had a great ability to cut perfect circles in paper targets as they were intended. Some people have stated these would not be good hunting pellets although I certainly would not want to be a rabbit on the other end of the barrel. At 10m I was able to hit a quarter (or sometimes a ChuckeCheese token) in 8/10 shots. Interestingly, these and all the pellets would make indentations in the coins and basically melt/deform into the coin.

The JSB Match Diablo Exact Jumbo Heavy domed pellets were very accurate.

After receiving these rounds and holding one in my hand, all I could think of was "with a mild wind the plastic tail will drift these front heavy rounds all over the place." Front heavy being a loose term, and yes with my Crosman 2240 I set out to see how well these "Heavy" rounds would perform. I mounted my 9 power scope and loaded up. I proceeded to watch as round after round fishtailed down range.
Just to make sure it wasn't a issue with the barrel, I fired 3 rounds into a water trap to see where the rounds contacted the rifling.
Much to my surprise, the raised ridges on both the front and the tail were untouched, on all 3 rounds. I now only use these rounds to shoot into a tin can at 10 yards, kinetic transfer is low, and don't expect more down range. All in all Hype, not heavy.

Pellets fit very loosely in my Benjamen trail nitro. Tried these because I could not find Green Monster by Scorpion. They seem similar but the green monsters fit tighter and are more consistent. Some are right on and then I get crazy fliers.

These are fantastic HUNTING! pellet's, with the emphasis on Hunting, these round's will definitely not win any Match round's, but if you're into "Field Target" or "Small-Game Hunting" these are worth a try. In my Cometa Fusion Premier, I get all my shots in the black @ 20M, Great grouping's with alot of "Clover-Leaf's", and penetration is second to none, I bagged a Pheasent @ 25M, and took it's head completely off! I have found that consistent accuracy depends on how well your weapon's barrel is rifled, If your gun's barrel has "slight" rifling(Crosman/Benjamin, especially their reguler 2240 barrel's, unless it's the 10.1" Lothar Walther) then your accuracy will be all over the board, but If your gun has very pronounced rifling(Webley&Scott,Hatsan,Cometa,Walther, etc,.)then your accuracy w/ this round is greatly increased. If the pellet isn't fully being engaged by the barrel's rifling, your accuracy diminishes to that of a Musket Ball. That being said, All of my "finer" shooters all have great result's both hunting and target shooting with this round, and I highly recommend it.

I have a new gun so there is room for improvement. However, compared to the diablo Exacts and and the H & N's, that are grouping 2.5 inches in 30 yards, these are all ove the place, I'll site the gun in for awhile longer and add to this review, but I see other reviews that says the same. I'm looking for some long range penetration, don't look promising at this point but the Exacts seem to be doing the job nicely. I'll wait another week and add to this review as of yet no noticeable penetration and certainly no accuracy, but I'll be back next week to say something more about the Skenco Heavy Long-Range

I shoot these from a beeman rs2. they are not the most accurate pellets due to skirt design in my opinion but they will kill anything they hit and anything thats behind it. real penetration, very hard alloy, recovered pellets could be reused but not recomended. put it this way...if you hit a deer in the head with one of these it's going down. thats some serious pellet gun hunting.

I tested the penetration on a four inch telephone book at 10 ft . distant fired out of an older model Beeman RS1 break barrel .22 cal pellet rifle that has a maximum velocity of 800 fps with light weight alloy pellets and about 640 fps with the heavy 18 grn pellets.
At a distance of 10 ft. the pellet penetrated 3 3/4 inches into a phone book a a lot of damage and ripping the sabot sleve off on the first inch of penetration . I am pretty sure these pellets would have gone through the phone book if shot from a more powerful rifle like a Ruger Magnum pellet rifle or a Umarex Octane Nitro Piston rifle.
I am surprised that these pellets flared out and expanded some what at lower velocities.
Shot some quarter size groups at 20 yards and still able to punch through a metal empty soup can. Use these pellets in a higher powered .22 cal air rifle and you can take down medium size game or defend yourself if needed. Shoot safely and make sure of your back stop is hard thick wood or heavy gage metal pellet trap.
