I had read other reviews which complained how difficult it was to get the iPhone in and out. In my experience it was very difficult ... until I realized that it was the friction of plastic to plastic. By blowing behind the iPhone it ballooned out the material and with a little shaking the phone dropped in. Same to get it out. The case is great. The phone touch controls worked fine - but I could not get any photos - just blue haze! :-(

OPPPSSS I realized I had put the phone in upside down! THEREFORE the camera was behind the blue material instead of the clear window.
Dumb!
After correction the camera worked fine, and it is neat to be able to take underwater photos. I recommend the case highly as insurance for the camera - and fun for snorkeling.

I am very disappointed with the case. I bought for iPhone (one is pictured in case picture). Thus far, I have been unable to get the iphone in the case. There seems to be just enough opening for the iphone to fit. But the material has such a high degree of adherence I am unable to get the phone to slide in the case. I worked for some time to get the phone about 2/3rds in the case. Then I feared I would never be able to remove it. Its as if the inside is made of tape. I did try the blowing tip but that just fogs up the bag and will likely trap moisture. If I was planning on using this as my primary iPhone case I think I could work the phone in there given some time. I would probably use two thin pieces of paperboard on each side to slide inside. I had intended to use with rare near water occasions. But this will require me to bring a 'kit' to take the current phone case off and wiggle the iPhone inside then out again later.

Update (7/15/2009): I was contacted by Aquapac. They have updated the case so that the material inside is not as tacky and the phone will slide easily. They are sending me the new model free of charge. My hats off to great customer service from this company.

If AquaPac were smart they'd sell this everywhere customers might want/need to bring their phones near/on water. Have used it on 3 different river trips so far and it's still great - I can hear callers and they can hear me, touch screen works like normal and the pictures are super clear. If I needed a different size waterproof pack I'd definitely try one of their other products. And you can't beat the price. Get it.

I uploaded a quick video review so you can check it out up close. I felt I was taking a chance in purchasing this after reading that other people had a hard time getting the phone into the case. Someone mentioned that the manufacturer reformulated the material or something to that effect. At first I thought I may have received the old material because it took me a full 10 minutes of hard work to get the phone in. Maybe I did, who knows? I got better at it the next few times but it was not easy. The phone stuck like glue to the inside of the case as soon as it made contact... I finally created my own "Aquapac iPhone Insertion Tool" using a sheet of paper and scotch tape, which worked great!

After about a week of use the phone slides in easily as you can see in the video. My guess is it became less tacky over time. I also speculate that dust from the paper insertion tool helped reduce the tackiness. I don't know why... I just know it works now. All in all I'm happy with the purchase now that I don't have to spend 5 minutes working the phone into the case. So if you're still having trouble getting the phone it, a sheet of paper works like magic.

Floating
I put the case with phone into a container of water and it did not float. It sank immediately. I then blew air into the case before closing it. At best it was slightly negatively buoyant, it still sank. I didn't buy it for that so doesn't bother me. I bought this to avoid another "hot tub" incident. ;-)

Backwash
During my flotation testing, I opened the case after it was submersed in water. There was a little water trapped in the locking mechanism and it dripped into the case and right onto the phone. So I'm having to make a mental note to make sure all the water has dripped off the lock and when I open it to point it down so any remaining water drips away and out.

This does exactly what I hoped. I wanted to read my Kindle app on my iPad at the pool or beach. It has kept my iPad bone dry through 2 days in a "lazy river" inner tube, safe from salt air at the beach and turns out to be great for reading in the tub (no more wet pages in real books!) it has also been subjected to several plunges about 4 feet deep in the pool- with me and without me.
I can't bring myself to completely be unconcerned about getting the iPad immersed- bcz it's such an expensive item for me- but I have to say this case has never given me ANY reason to think the iPad is in danger. I don't know how it would survive being UNDERwater for a few days- but I can definitely vouch for the occasional deep plunge and lots of splashes.
It is true that it's difficult to read the iPad with the case in the sun. However, I find that true anyway so I did expect that. So far it has worked for me to angle it - or remove my polarized sunglasses. If you want to use it with sunglasses it total bright sunlight you will have problems seeing the screen.
It works for me though and makes it so I can use my iPad at the beach, pool, hot tub and bathtub.
Thanks!
