I eat a mostly ketogenic diet, so I bought this product to supplement my potassium intake, and I put it on just about everything. It definitely DOES NOT taste like normal salt--it has this kind of odd funk to it, although it's not bad. I got used to the flavor and don't mind it at all anymore. You'll definitely notice the difference, though. The three pack is at a good price, so this is a great deal.

For me, like many other people, I decided to reduce my daily intake of sodium for health reasons. Before I tried this product, I had tried some salt substitutes and the taste was horrible! So I went to my local market and picked up one of these Morton Lite Salt items. The first thing that I noticed that it really tasted good. Much like the regular salt. So I continued to use it with my daily meals. By the end on one week, I was really enjoying the taste of this product.

So I went online and did some research and found one quarter teaspoon (about one serving) yields 360 milligrams of potassium, which is needed for the body. Not as much as say a large banana which has 450 milligrams of potassium, however, a nice amount of potassium.

Salt: The amount of salt in lite salt is 290 MG vs 590 MG in regular table salt per serving.
So bye bye regular salt, hello Lite Salt!

I am a huge salt lover, I always have been. I put tons of salt on everything. I have also been very lucky and have low, sometimes too low blood pressure, so I don't really have to worry about my salt intake. However, I do have thyroid issues so I tend to get low potassium. So I tried this and love it. I use it all the time.

I don't really use this for myself often, we use it in the recipe we use to make cat food for our kitties. I don't always find this at the grocery store, but luckily, it's available on amazon. It works for us, pours easily, doesn't cake.
The few times I've used it for cooking, it did taste a little differently, but that's ok.

I like the salt, but after buying found it for 1/2 the price locally. Not sure why food items are so much more expensive online even when they are non perishable.

The salt provides the potassium I need, and it doesn't clump even with a lot of humidity which is nice. Good salt.

Salt substitutes generally don't taste right. But this is half and half and you'll never tell the difference between it and regular salt. Cut your salt intake in half without even knowing it. What a great product. I've been using it for years.
