It arrived in four pieces plus a hardware pack. My only surprise is the directions indicate you need a power drill. Apparently the trays do not have pilot holes. So you screw directly into the polywood plastic without any pilot holes. Most homes probably have a power drill so it's not a big deal. Just be aware. At 18 pounds it's a nice sturdy two shelf outdoor table. I will use mine for plants and not worry about water run off.

Nice table and fits very nicely with my "recycled" adirondack chairs. Most of the tables are 18" high which are just too short to use for setting drinks, etc., on. This is around 21" high and just slides underneath the arms of my chairs so it blends as if part of the chair...no awkward reaching down to retrieve a drink. Item comes unassembled so you will need a phillips head screwdriver. Holes are not predrilled on some of the underside pieces but that is not a problem. It took me less than 10 minutes to put it together. Both table tops were already assembled. For the price, the quality is okay and the table will serve it's purpose. True, there are better quality brands out there but for just a side table, I would recommend this one. Just as an extra comment, I got the white so I cannot speak for the other colors offered to see if they would match other manufacturer brand colors. With that being said, if you order this table in white, you won't be disappointed.

Just put this together today. Love that it's plastic and we can put drinks on it and have it rained on without fear of damaging the finish. We got it to match our polywood rocking chairs and it's going to be great for cokes or tea, and books to read, during non-winter months.

Note about assembling: You *must* have a drill and phillips head drill bit to insert 3" long screws. Directions state that but it might be helpful for someone to know before purchasing. Overall easy, no drama assembly.
