Works great with dish dvr 722k. Able to get channels and record them over the air and even get the sub channels. Also adds the ability to record 2 more shows at the same time (2 dish channels and 2 OTA channels.) I love this product. Only complaint is I need a better antenna but that isnt the fault of the product. Also gives the ability to record channels in HD that dish dont send threw there system (only if you can receive the channels in HD over the antenna.

I purchased this for my Dish VIP722K HD DVR so I could be able to watch all 31 extra digital channels available over the air (antenna) with my digital antenna located in my upstairs bedroom in Wichita, KS. The device was was so easy to install! Two screws off of a panel cover on the back of the DVR, then slide the unit into the opening, put the two screws back, then just screw the antenna coaxial cable in, program the stations thru the remote and within ten minutes total I now have 31 total digital channels in HD and on my program guide on Dish!
The Best part is not only do have all your locals in HD in case the satellite goes out, but now I can record the major network channels in HD and 2 more channels on any of my programming! That's now the capability to record four channels at once! It's $50.00 plus tax and shipping on Dish! I bought this from the reseller Solid Signal which is a Great Company offering almost every type, brand of Satellite accessories and DVRs, tuners, etc!
Just get this item! It's well worth the money! A++++ (only works with a few models of Dish DVR/receivers)

We live in a hilly area 35 & 43 miles from the tower farms. I was worried that I might not get all my local sub channels with the mt2 ota module. I upgraded my outside antenna to a antennacraft hbu33 antenna and checked my signal strength. I still had a few stations show a 58 to 65 percent signal. I installed the mt2 module into my 722k receiver and scanned for channels. To my surprise it found ALL of my local channels! + a few 115 miles from me, though they are not watchable. also showed stronger signals than what my flat screen showed. lowest level I have on my locals is 64 percent and pic on that channel looks great and has not dropped out at all so far. I am very pleased with the module and glad I purchased it. I have integrated the channels into the dish menu, and have all my channels on one controller. easy set up. Hope it works for You. P.S, I scanned on a bluebird day don't know if that helped the module.

I bought this when upgrading my receiver from a 622 to the 922. My 622 had the OTA tuner built in, the 922 doesn't. I ordered this and had it before Dish brought out the upgrade receiver, so the install was easy since I could install it before the tech hooked everything up to the entertainment system. The tech even said he'd do it for me since I had it ready to install. After the tuner booted up (which takes forever with a 922) adding the over the air channels is easy to do by yourself (instructions included or online at Dish). If you are upgrading your receiver and it will be a few days before a tech can bring the upgrade receiver out, order this, it's cheaper than buying it through Dish, the tech will install it for you and even help you tune in/program the OTA channels.

Well, let me first say that I was NOT happy to see the product ordered from DISH COMM (fulfilled by Amazon) was in fact a refurbished part when it arrived. Nowhere in the product description is this disclosed. For the price that I paid, it certainly should have been new.

Otherwise the MT2 works great and is definitely worth the investment. Adds off-the-air channels that otherwise are not available via satellite, and also adds a backup for core local channels to be received during times of bad weather. Highly recommended.

When we had Dish installed, the installer didn't know of anyway for us to get over-the-air HD channels. Must have been new? Anyway, now I can view these channels and record them on the DVR. The nicest thing about this module is the ease of installing and set-up. Comes with complete instructions on how to use, and adds 2 additional recorders to our DVR (total of 4). Not only does it record, but Dish provides content listing for the channels as well. Some of the more obscure channels won't show content, and frankly I deleted them due to a lack of interest on my part. The better the HD antenna you have, the better the list of air channels you will receive. I mounted our outdoor HD antenna to the Dish pole in our yard and pick up channels as far as 50 miles away- there are several antennas that do even better. Well worth the money! With the extra recorders, I have been able to resolve content overlap that prevented me from recording all the shows my family likes to record. Peace in the family once again.

If you travel with a receiver (i.e. in a RV) and grow tired of changing your service address every time you relo, this is a must have. Plug your Antenna into this device and gain local HD channels (ABC, CBS, FOX, CW, etc) AND programming data! Can record 2 different OTA channels, as well as the normal 2 SAT channels! I recommend that you turn off the display of the SAT Locals, so that your Dish PASS DVR timers don't try to tune to those SAT channels, and use the OTA channels instead. Recommended purchase for any application, as having 2 SAT AND 2 OTA simultaneous recording capability is awesome, especially when you have favorites on both affiliates (NBC+FOX) and SAT (Comedy Central+Discovery) during prime time hours (8-10PM) for example.
