Over the years, I have purchased many spatter guards and they all ended up in the same place - the trash. They were either too flimsy and didn't hold their shape, or didn't really do much to stop oil splatters. This one is a keeper. The kind of quality product I have come to expect from Le Creuset. It is well made and heavy enough to stay on the pan; the silicon rim makes for a tight fit and assures no sliding around. Easy to keep clean and folding handle makes storage easy. Very pleased with this item and I would highly rcommend it for anyone who really wants to contain splattering oil. This one will do it! Meant to last a lifetime and worth every penny.

Best splatter guard I have ever come across. This is well worth the money. It's very heavy duty and covers my Le Creuset skillet perfectly and also has a nice folding handle for storage. Instead of wasting your money on inexpensive splatter guards that will need frequent replacement, spend the money and buy Le Creuset.

I've had quite a few universal splatter guards over the years... some solid, some mesh. Usually I would get whatever was on sale at the time. But they never lasted long. So this time I decided to go with my favorite kitchen brand and I am not disappointed. This is well made and built to last. I love that the handle folds over for easier storage. I have been collecting Le Creuset pieces for many years and I'm happy to add this to my collection. Worth every penny

This is by far the best built splatter screen I've ever used. The construction is heavy duty... this thing feels like it weighs as much as some of my pans. The folding handle is super convenient and the silicon on the bottom provide excellent grip to prevent the screen from slipping off the pan when it gets bumped. I am absolutely satisfied with this purchase.

Remember to always use "my bar keepers friend" at your local store to clean the screen and ss casing/handle. The screen will get smoke marks. They will always continue to work well regardless of the discoloration. If you cook a lot you know what I mean. This happens to be a pretty good product.
