I bought this for use at work. I thought it would both look nice on my book case and keep me from dripping tea on my desk. At least it looks nice.

I've gotten a few compliments and it has been a great way to find out who drinks tea around the office. It also does a nice job at keeping my tea hot until I'm ready to drink. It is easy to clean

The list of negative points. It drips when you remove it from the cup and flip it over. And the holes in the tea ball are rather large and allow finer teas to escape. The fit of the plastic leaf section of the tea ball is poor. I feel this level of function and workmanship is not worth the high price tag.

I would not buy this again or recommend it to a friend. In fact, I plant to purchase some type of disposable tea bags for my loose tea.

I love my tea infuser! Its a lid for steeping the tea, it contains the drips coming from the tea ball, after the tea is made. Its size is perfect for a cup of tea. But best of all I can leave it setting out like a decoration making it easy to use. So many times I buy cute little things like this and end up packing them in a cupboard where there hard to access and then I wont use them. With this just setting out its easy to get to and use. I highly recommend this tea infuser.

I love it. It's everything I thought it would be. Just a minor detail that's off. My product has the reverse colors. On mine, the branch is brown and the leaf on the tea infuser metal part is a bright green. Not a big deal, just something I noticed, still very cute.

I like the saucer because it keeps the heat in and more importantly, it keeps bugs and other things from dropping into my tea. It's also excellent for green tea because when I'm done brewing, I just flip it over and all the liquid pools into the edges of the saucer. I'm surprised that this is actually cheaper than some other tea infuser options. It's easy to clean. The metal part and leaf are attached and come off the branch easily. The leaf of the infuser is what clasps it together. This is better for taller cups, not shallow cups, but if you shift the ball a bit, as long as the cup is as long or longer than the branch, it will fit.

The saucer looks flat in the picture. It is actually slightly convex so that any liquid drips onto the mound and into the edges of the saucer.

You unsnap the tea ball, half fill it with tea leaves, snap it shut, flip it upside down and put it over your cup or mug of boiling water. It keeps the heat and the steam in to perfectly brew the tea leaves and keep it hot as it brews. When the time is up, turn it back up and you're done. Unless you want to only remove it to sip tea, and keep it on to keep your tea hot longer, in case you're not a tea guzzler, but a tea sipper.

My wife loves to drink hot tea. I bought this tea tree infuser for her as an impulse purchase on a Gold Box offer. The product arrives fully assembled and well-packaged to protect against shipping damage. There are no instructions included, and it took me a moment to figure out how to remove the infuser from the plastic limb, but it is removed and replaced easily once you see how to do it. When I first showed it to my wife she seemed unimpressed, but after taking it to work and trying it out there she says she loves it. It's the perfect size for making a mug of tea, and she likes how the tray keeps the infuser from making a mess when you're done. She has gotten numerous compliments about it from her friends at work. It is a very unique product and makes a great gift idea for tea lovers.

This is the greatest tea infuser ever! It is so handy with the built in saucer (Just turn it upside down into the cup). I did find with some teas I had to line it with a coffee filter or similar to keep the small particles out, but I have already ordered more for fellow tea drinkers.

Well. I received this in the mail today and was a little surprised to find the vine brown and the top of the tea ball green. It isn't bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting from the picture. The vine and top of the tea ball are also plastic, I think...again, not as I expected from the picture. I don't dislike what I received, but it isn't as cute as expected or quite as nice as expected for the purchase price. I cannot comment on its usefulness as I haven't used it yet. The saucer is rather large compared to the vine and tea ball, but perhaps that is so it can function with a latte cup (it is about that diameter). Overall I can't decide if I'd recommend this product or not at its current $20 price. There are perfectly functioning tea balls that cost much less and aren't plastic.

Mostly, I wanted this because I collect novelty tea infusers. If you're actually interested in using this uniquely designed tea ball, consider that you will need a really tall mug of reasonable width (that is also clear) to really see it in action. Also, often the tea will come out through the holes if you're using a smaller loose leaf.
