This system works well, and because it writes "wetly", it writes very boldly on a whiteboard. And even though it's bold, its erases well. It's major problem is that a cartridge does not last very long. In normal everyday use in my classroom, it only lasted 3-4 weeks before it needed to be replaced. Also, the price from Amazon is very very high. Almost $3.00 each when ordered with Free Super Saver Shipping. From Schoolhouse Specialty, they are only .67¢ each.

So they write darkly and well, and erase easily, but don't last very long.

This marker is by far one of the very best I have ever used. I got them free at a workshop, and I'm so glad that I chose them. The colors all show up brightly on my whiteboards, and they don't leave behind the smudges that Expo or the off brand markers do. They also look different from the Expos my students use, so I haven't lost any of these to sticky student fingers.

My only complaint is that the ink runs out so quickly, and one refill here on Amazon, is just $3, while a new pack of 5 colors is $9.

I'm going to be buying more, because I love these markers.

Nobody will know your secret when you're suddenly so very popular with the opposite sex. They'll think you started working out, or came into a lot of money. But the reality is... when you show up on your study date with these Pilot BeGreen V Board Master Whiteboard markers, you will get some. Nothing will impress your coeds, study partners or that attractive colleague better than your own dry erase markers. On top of writing better than any other dry erase marker available, they're refillable, which gets you into their green, feel good sights.

Don't be like every other wannabe using lesser markers from Expo or the cheap knockoff brands... only Pilot BeGreen V Board Master Whiteboard dry erase markers will give you the attention you deserve.

Seriously these are awesome, been using the bullet tips for months, and just ordered more for the various whiteboards in the office.

i purchased these pilot begreens because my grandchildren kept leaving caps off of other dryerase markers and they became a waste. ive spent so much money on the others. then i seen these and i thought, its best to take a chance.
well, they worked well. then a month ago, my 7 yr old grandson said one marker was dried out and the liquid was gone from the red one, so i ordered this refill cartridge. well, come to find out, after i got the cartridge, i didnt need to use it yet because magically the liquid was back inside the marker, and not only that, the dry tip became filled with fluid again. even after not having a cap on the end for days. we stood it straight up and left it like that for awhile and maybe the saturation began again.
they write nice. i was so happy that i didnt have to buy another marker. these are well worth the money. it will save so much in the longrun.

These wrote beautifully for two weeks. The black looked like india ink - solid and smooth flowing. They erased well, too. But they certainly don't last very long.

I am a Math teacher who writes on the board a lot. My school provided these at the beginning of the year, and I was skeptical since I am partial to Expo. However, I love them! Bright color, easy to refill and the tip is just right. I hate it when I don't have a refill and I have to go back to an Expo. I think that the refill lasts about as long as a typical EXPO marker, but I haven't tested it scientifically.

I recommend trying them.

The main problem with white boards are the markers: you are gambling every time you pick it up whether it'll have ink or not. The usual markers write clearly for about 10 minutes, write crappy for the rest of that lecture and a few more, and then die. It's also impossible to tell which stage of the process a given marker is in, so you have to bring backups every time.

On the other hand these are entirely consistent: they have a nice selection of colors (I'm colorblind and all 5 are easily distinguishable) and write beautifully while they still have ink, then quickly but predictably fade. I average three lectures of lots of writing (calculus) before having to switch them out, and day 3 is usually just as nice as day 1, I often forget to change because it looks nice until the end. The clear section allows you to easily verify whether it needs changing or not: useful for secondary colors which you may not use as often.

Of course, three lectures is not ideal considering a couple pieces of chalk will last me the entire quarter on a blackboard, but this seems to be the best option for when I have to deal with whiteboards. A cheapo marker will probably last a little longer but will look bad the entire time, so is it worth it?

I love the way they write and erase. The only issue I have is they don't last as long as I would like.
I need to purchase some refills.
They also do not have a smell that makes you sick like many others.
