Nice little boot, but runs (2 sizes) small

I never wear a 12 in ANYTHING, but I had to get one in this boot. Most of my street shoes are a 9-1/2 or 10 in women's. I knew from other reviews that this boot ran small, but I had no idea. Initially, I ordered an 11, but they crowded my toes, so I had to send them back and get the size 12. They are very comfortable boots. The fabric is tougher than it looks. I dance a lot, but I purchased them as a nankeen-look boot for my Regency-era clothing. With different strings, they worked wonders. Since they have a split sole, I would not recommend wearing them outside if it is damp, rainy or muddy. The pads on the toe and heel wore well in the areas where I was walking, which was mostly in short grass and on paved sidewalks. I did put a removable insole in the shoe before I wore them, to provide extra cushioning. If I was going to regularly wear these in areas of dirt and/or grass, I would definitely take them to a cobbler to have a leather sole professionally stitched on, but for sidewalks and limited walking, the regular sole did fine. In packing, they squish down to almost nothing, and you can stash them in your purse or bag. As a side note, I did end up dancing in these boots, and they worked great. Nice flex and point.

Too small

The shoes were too small. I sent them back and with Amazon Prime it didn't cost me a dime. The larger ones were on their way before I sent the too small pair back. Love Amazon Prime. I wear a size 10 in US sizes. I reordered a size 15 and they did fit. I love them for the country dancing that I do. They are great; lightweight and slide really well.

Good for the price.

Great for the price paid...Not expensive craftmanship either though, just a good value. I cannot really complain. Do order wayyyyyy larger than your street shoe. I usually wear 8.5 to a 9, ordered 10 and fits like a glove. Allow width to be a real consideration also, I am never a W but the M fits me almost narrow like. Just a forewarning.

It's great for you ankles

The shoe is way too flat. It provides no support. It's great for you ankles, but it feels like I'm without shoes. It's light weight, but needs a better bottom. I wear size 8 shoes. The size 13 fit perfect. I don't think the sole is going to hold out that long. The front of the shoe is breaking up after two wears.

Great product, poor sizing

The sizing of these shoes are extremely poor! I have no idea what chart they use! My daughter wears a size 6.5 so I purchased the 7 and paid for overnight shipping. Three purchases later (overnight shipping) we ended up with a size 10!! She needed them for a musical. I even measured her foot with a ruler and used the sizing chart and that didn't work! We probably could have used the 11, but ran out of time. Thank goodness for free returns! Otherwise, the product is great for school productions and exactly what she was required to purchase and priced much better than anything we could find locally.

We use these a lot at out studio and they fit had shown to be correct per the chart. Good thing as we were using them for a show and there was no time to do any exchanging However you cannot order by your street shoe size you must follow the size chant

Great dance shoe, especially for the price

I loved this shoe; quality is very good. You do need to order it larger--usually I wear a 7 1/2 or an 8 due to width but needed a 9 for length. They stretched a bit when I wore them, but not too much.
Would definitely buy again!

Ok for the price

You have to order above your normal shoe size. I usually wear an 11 I ordered a 13. The construction is somewhat cheap canvas and there is little padding on the inside of the sole. I had to put my own padding in. I bought mostly because I sprained my ankle and needed high top support
