I was in need of a tabletop mic stand for an AKG Perception 220 Microphone for my last shoot.
This fit the bill perfectly and was small enough where I could tuck it away where it couldn't be seen on camera.
I would buy again.

Seems sturdy considering the price. Fully adjustable mic clip and long neck. Folds up nice and fits into the bag comfortably. Cheap vinly bag with 2 zippered pockets - 1 for stand, 1 for clip.

At this price I expect a cheap plastic stand that breaks after a few uses, but certainly not so with this one. It's a great, simple utility mic stand; I bought one not expecting much, but after I got it I immediately bought another.

EDIT (June 2014): Still love this stand! Again, a great performer for the price. It wasn't available for purchase for a while, but I'm glad it's back because I'm going to buy another pair.

I just ordered this item two days ago, and I thought that for this price, it must be made of plastic. I am happy to tell you, that other than the mic clip itself, this is mostly made of graphite. Fits both my studio USB mic, and my stage mic perfectly. Comes with a nice little zip up pouch and takes up like no space in my studio. I absolutely love this product!

I don't really know how else to say it. It works as intended, I mean it's not a plane or a nuclear fission engine. It holds the microphone in place and you can adjust the height that respects your desk.

It is so small that it cannot hold all mics. If you have a big lopsided kick drum mic with a skinny neck and akward COG(AKG D112), this stand will not be able to hold it up. It can however hold up the Audix D6 and it can hold an SM 57 up to a guitar cab if its the right height. I love this because it has allowed me to mic things in really really tight spaces. I would never have had room to use full sized instrument mic stands in some of the tiny stages I have seen this summer. This thing takes up very little real estate, I have put this thing in the pocket of my jeans before!

Very functional and well made. Folds up and snaps back into position easily. The head tightens well and remains in position with mic with loosening.
The only con is, it's light weight but that can also be considered an asset.

I use an Audio Technica AT835b with my desktop to get clear dialogue in skype or any games I find myself playing. This stand made it possible for me to mount my lengthy shotgun microphone just above my screen pointing down at me, putting the microphone in the most ideal position! It works like an absolute charm! I am so pleased! It is small enough to fit behind my screen, but is large enough to stretch over the top of it!
