Normally multi grain means that it filled with exoctic grains like bleached flour, bleached rice and the such because they are cheap and multi grain on a title sounds healthy. This product actually puts whole grains in for each grain: Whole corn, whole wheat, whole Oats, whole barley, and whole rice. Now it could have benefited from more protein grains like barley, but that may reduce the quality of the taste for this product. If your familiar with regular cheerios, then know that the taste of this is not far off. It does have a variety of grains that give it more flavor than plain cheerios, more of a nutty taste in my opinion.

Believe it or not, this is great as long as I put cinnamon on it! Seriously, a great cereal choice and my only one. I save money purchasing through Amazon. Delivery is so fast. Cheerios is the only cereal I eat because it has so much of the right ingredients. Amazon has the best variety's!

The nirvana of breakfast cereals, Multi-grain cheerios has a subtle sweetness that makes it more tasty than regular cheerios, but not all the sugar that's packed into the honey-nut variety. Adding fruit only enhances the healthiness and flavor.

My kids love this cereal and go right through it. We used to order larger boxes in bulk but they are no longer available w/ free shipping on Amazon. I didn't realize how small 9 oz boxes are when I placed the order. In our house, the box doesn't have a chance once opened. The cereal is tastey though. The kids eat it for breakfast, as a snack and even as dessert.

Cheerios Multi Grain Cereal, 9-Ounce (255g) Boxes (Pack of 4), by General Mills Cereals.
This variety of Cheerios cereal contains five whole grain cereals in one box (corn, oats, barley, wheat, rice) in the form of a mixture of five different types of Cheerios. This mixture has its plusses and minuses compared to regular Cheerios. On the plus side, this mixture has a Total Fat of 1g, Sodium 120mg, versus the regular Cheerios having Total Fat of 2g, Sodium 140mg. On the minus side, this mixture has Calories 110, Potassium 140mg, Sugars 6g, Protein 2g, while regular Cheerios has Calories 100, Potassium 170mg, Sugars 1g, Protein 3g. So, for a breakfast cereal, you pick your poison, depending on which nutrition facts are more important to you. Myself, as a pre-diabetic, I would have to favor the regular Cheerios with 1g of sugar versus 6g of sugar, but if I had high blood pressure and had to minimize salt intake, I would pick the Multi Grain, with 120mg versus 140mg of Salt. Processed foods in general contain far too much salt and sugar. There is no winner here, just the lesser of two evils, and that lesser depends on your medical condition. The dietary fiber is 3g for both cereals, so that is not a tie breaker. If your Potassium levels are testing low, the regular Cheerios would get the nod, with 170mg versus 140mg of Potassium. There is not much difference in the taste, despite the variety of grains in the Multi Grain cereal.
The only difference in taste, is in the differing amounts of sugar, which is noticeable. The difference in Salt taste is minor and is not noticeable. Comparing the two cereals, the devil is in the details. For other, more normal folks, who do not have to track Sugar, Salt, or Potassium consumption, both cereals taste good and are acceptable.

The taste is better than regular Cheerios -- more flavor and slightly sweet. I add sliced bananas or dried cranberries and eat it every day for breakfast -- too bad it's no longer in subscribe and save.

A single serving of this product has a quarter of the daily recommended amount of added sugar for women. It is very sweet, not just lightly sweetened. Sugar is third in the ingredients list, which also contains brown sugar syrup. Traditional Cheerios are much healthier in this regard, with only 1 gram of total sugar per serving.
