These are interesting little ravioli.
These are super easy and very quick to prepare. Just puncture the top, pop in the microwave for 25 seconds, drain the liquid and they are ready. They are easy for little hands to pick up. The perfect size. They can either be served in the bowl they come in or sometimes, it's easier to pick up the ravioli out of a flat dish.
They don't taste that great, though. They are bland and a bit gummy. The first ravioli tasted was not liked. The second seemed to be liked a bit better. The third ravioli was thrown on the floor. Then we got into a routine and these did finally get eaten. They just aren't a big hit. The next package went the same way. They seem to be tolerated more than actually enjoyed.
They are mostly pasta dough. There's a bit of something smooth filling them up. The ones I purchased are supposed to be Beef and Tomato. Perhaps that's what that smooth stuffing is? Sure doesn't taste like it. :)
But, in a pinch, these are good for some variety. They are not messy (unless they get thrown on the floor) and they are very quick and easy to prepare. And because they are shelf stable, these can go with you anywhere.
