I had this same trimmer for 4 years and it had started losing power so I replaced it with the same model since I was very happy with it when it was new. When I got the new trimmer I charged it according to directions, but it ran out of power before I had even finished trimming my minature poodle's face. Very annoying to have your dog all bathed and ready to groom and no power. The next time I had left it charging for several days and still could not complete the grooming. I kept thinking it must be how I was charging it and trying another strategy but now that I've concluded it's not me but a poorly made trimmer and I am stuck with it because "This item cannot be returned.Return Window expired" Since I still need a trimmer I will have to buy it elsewhere.

I would have given this 5 stars if the trimmer functioned like I thought it would. Maybe it is me and my lack of coordination, but this trimmer didn't shave like a vet's office does prior to surgery. But I still like it.

i bought this for my local animal shelter's surgery clinic. they use it to prep the pets for surgery. they love it. they've had it for many months and have never had any problems with it whatsoever. plenty of power. they've even used it to shave matted dogs a few times.

Not quiet at all! It's louder than my heavy duty clippers that I've been using almost every day for 2 years. And the blade moves so slow that it literally STOPPED when I was trying to shave a yorkies paw pads with it.
