quality product for a low price. Button has good tactile feel, and it beeps every time you push it, which means you don't have to watch it as you count to make sure your button push registered. Clear lcd display also.

I got this to keep in my pocket every day. Whenever I do something that I really feel as if I cannot accomplish, click. If I banish a negative or self defeating thought or action, click. It is an inexpensive yet very valuable tool which helps keep me on track during tough bouts of depression and anxiety. Journaling my clicks and why I clicked in the first place is very beneficial for me.

Mine still works after a few weeks of use so I guess I have gotten lucky in that regard. The button for counting is easy to find and press without seeing it and the reset button is hard to accidentally press. It is audible without being too loud. I agree with other reviews that the length of the strap seems to be pretty random. It is too short for me to put around my neck and too long to be functional on my wrist. As a result I put it in my pocket. That works as long as the battery cover doesn't come off. I have had that happen twice so far and, of course, the counter resets to 0.

Bought two of these for counting laps while running indoors during the winter at the local Wellness Center.

The first one stopped beeping almost immediately and following the instructions to activate/deactivate the beeper did not resolve the issue. It still functions fine besides that, but the beep is important for me in that it gives me audible feedback that the lap button was pushed.

The second one had a different issue almost immediately too. The unit would not respond to the button push to turn it on, often taking ten presses or so to finally see the LED. Once you got it turned on, it worked well until the last time I used it, including the beep when pushing the lap button. On lap 21 (of 50) on my last run, the LED just went blank. Despite pushing the power button repeatedly, it stayed off until I had finished my run and looked at it again in my truck as I was preparing to drive home. "21" read on the LED display. Sigh.

My wife has a third one and I expect it to fail in some manner shortly as well. I'l probably just wind up getting one of those old-fashioned mechanical ones.

I have started a walking program. I was having trouble remembering what lap I was on, so I got this. It has worked well, as long as I remember to click it as I complete a lap! There is nothing fancy about it, All it does is count laps, but that's what I wanted it for.

The strap on it is more like a ribbon. It is pretty short, but I can get it over my head. It puts it at about mid-chest, which is higher than I would prefer. It is also too long to loop around your wrist. I'm curious why they chose this particular length. I guess you could cut it and add more to it, but since I can get it over my head, I will leave it alone.

I'm a beginning golfer, so I bought this counter to keep track of strokes on those holes you'd rather forget about:) It works fine, and you can turn off the audible beep, which is nice. The included strap is quite small, there was no way to get it over my head, and it's too big for wrist use. I ended up running it through a couple belt loops and letting it ride on my waist.

A gift for my personal trainer who never seemed to keep count correctly when I Was doing reps. Now she doesn't stop and ask me how many I've done so far. Its been great for me and keeps me from having to keep up with my own reps! :)
