I have liked Charmin's mega rolls since they first came out. I was lucky I didn't need the extender for them to fit on my holders. One was pretty tight, but it worked okay. I was surprised when this new batch said on the package that it was guaranteed to fit. When I used it on the holder that used to be a tight fit, I noticed it didn't rub the wall as much. I still had a package of the originals, so I compared them. I had thought they might have figured out how to roll the paper tighter since it still claimed to be 4 times the size of a regular roll. The old rolls had 400 sheets. The new ones have 352. Guess they didn't learn to roll them tighter.

Charmin Ultra-soft is the only kind of T.P. I have bought in ten years. So, I am somewhat of a Charmin conniseur so-to-speak. It is the best toilet paper out there for those of us with sensitive tushes (and just about everyone that doesn't like the feeling of sandpaper). I thought this was a great deal- until my Charmin arrived. Hmmm...let's just say this isn't the same Charmin I get at my local store. Yes, the packaging is the same BUT (pun-intended) it is not as soft, is missing a ply, and doesn't have quilting. I thought I got a bad batch but when I purchased them from Amazon the second time- same stuff. Go figure.

OMG what happened to this tp?! Charmin is insulting our intelligence trying to PASS OFF this sandpaper as anything REMOTELY close to their old Charmin ultra soft. First the rolls started to SHRINK and I was OK with that because the quality was soooo good, now it's textured, thinner and ROUGH, this is not SOFT by any means and CERTAINLY not ultra soft. IT'S NO LONGER absorbent and you have to use much much more to "protect" your hand. I'm angry that a PERFECT product is RUINED. I'm a long time customer and I will NO LONGER buy this product until they go back to the original softness WITH NO TEXTURE, just PLAIN AND SUPER SOFT. IF IT AINT BROKE DONT TRY TO FIX IT!!!!!! I will be finder a replacement or using the store brand generic of this. BOOOOOOOO CHARMIN!!!!

The price on this is completely outrageous!!!! No one in their right mind would or should be stupid enough to purchase this. I am completely appalled at how they could even think of raising it to these prices when people can purchase toilet paper anywhere else for so much less.

I have purchased this in the past when it was at a good price and was on Subscribe and Save and was happy to be able to get them shipped to my home. But somewhere they obviously aren't making money and now think people will buy at these prices....Really?!?!

When I first went back to Charmin after using other brands for a few years I thought, Wow! this is softer than I remembered and not as dusty. However, after using it for a year I found each shipment to be more expensive and the product seemed to get dustier. I don't know whether Charmin has changed the product or if I have become more observant but it has become so messy on the floor under the dispenser that I recently switched back to my previous brand that is not quite as soft but much cheaper and not nearly as dusty!

When I purchased these, I paid less than $1 a roll, but the price has recently increased to $1.23 a roll. At that price you might be better off purchasing at the grocery, though it is convenient to have TP delivered to the door. The mega rolls do last a long time compared to the large rolls, so less annoying to have to install rolls constantly. I do hate how the manufacturers keep shrinking the TP, either shortening the rolls or making them narrower.
