I purchased 2 of these fans around a month ago for my new computer build. I'm using a Cooler Master Elite 430 mid case, which has 6 slots for case fans. I placed one of these Rosewill fans pulling air in on the left side panel, and the other pulling air in through the bottom vent, in addition to a few other fans moving some air around.

Installation:

Installing these fans we pretty easy. Each fan came with 8 screws to attach the fan with, although only 4 are needed (4 extra!). Like other fans, you need to predrill the fan attachment holes to give the screws. They attached easily, and were pulled tightly against the case, preventing any type of movement. The fan connector consisted of a 3 pin connector for the motherboard, or a 4 pin male/female plug, so you could stack several on one PSU plug. The cables were plenty long, and the wires coming out of the fan came with black wire covering which has a great look.

Quality:

I was actually pretty surprised with the quality of these fans. The plastic feels strong, and is perfectly clear. The wires attaching the 4 blue LEDs in each corner are very thin and covered in some type of clean epoxy to protect them. The LED wires aren't visible unless you look for them. Again, the black wire covering on the power wires definitely makes this fan seem much higher quality. It makes very little noise (I'm not sure the noise rating in the product description is correct), and moves around a good amount of air. Again, these fans are a lot quieter than I expected, and I have 2! The LEDs are at a great brightness level; not too bright, not too dim.

Performance:

These are great cheap fans, I ordered two of them, they fit great in my rosewill challenger case. They're a good match with the fan my case originally came with as well. They have 3 pin connectors hardwired into them but they also include the 4 pin molex connector in the package as well. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and rosewill has not disappointed whatsoever.

First of all the fan is gorgeous. the picture doesn't do it justice. its wired with a 3 pin connector. included in the box are 8, yes 8 mounting screws. It also has a harness? comes with two 3 pin connectors wired together with a molex 4 pin for power. so you can connect multiple fans together. Top it off that its less expensive than other fans and you got a winner. going to hook it up and see whats what, I will update later.

totally impressed and satisfied with these Rosewill 120mm Blue LED fans. A bargain for the price. Quiet and they move a lot of air. The lights are the brightest I have come across and am even more happier that even at 2000rpm they are still so quiet compared to other fans. They all come individually packaged and have 3-pin connectors and necessary screws. Wish the cables were a bit longer but performance wise they are perfect for additional case cooling. Will be ordering more. With these fans my temps have dropped 10 degrees even with running SLI dual cards ( GTS 450) at full load.

Cannot recommend these enough. Sometimes I wonder if "74 CFM" does these justice. It may just be good air pressure, but they really do push A LOT of air.

If airflow is your goal, you've found your fan. This pushes an incredible amount of air in or out of your PC. So why four stars? It sounds like a jet fighter is taking off on your desk. I purchased a sound-dampening rubber gasket to reduce vibration and that has helped, but the RPMs are still going to create sound regardless.

That said, you trade silence for airflow and that may be exactly what you're looking for. This much flow and a blue LED at the price point I purchased at? I'm fine with it.

I purchased this fan for a top exhaust fan but the first one made a terrible grinding/clicking noise when used as such. It was fine for a rear, side or front fan but not if you intend to exhaust the air upwards. So, I got a replacement and it does the same but the noise is much more manageable with the second one. I can't really hear it anymore with my other louder fans. So, I wouldn't recommend this if you plan on using it for a top exhaust fan.

-I didn't really compare CFM but my original orange thermaltake case fan pushes more air than this one.

Excellent!

Bought this fan to replace the crap fan that came on my low budget case, and the difference is night and day. I bought this thinking it would be marginally better than my cheapo pre-installed case fan but I was wrong.

The LED's are, first off, much brighter. Secondly, the fan spins much faster and is completely stable (no vibration or alignment defects). Thirdly, it's quiet and effective! I looked on open hardware monitor and my temperatures at idle went down 10 to 15 degrees! I can't tell if that's because my old fan was just garb, or if this fan is really good. Maybe it's a mix of both.

I just can't see how fans that cost more perform better than this one. Maybe those more expensive fans have some fancy power controls or bring in slightly more cubic centimeters of air per second. But for the price of this fan, the bang for the buck is excellent. I was able to just use my old fan as a support fan on the side of the case, and this fan is being used as the main intake.

Very impressed, would buy many more if I only had more fan headers / a better fan splitter cable.

If you're thinking about buying maybe 4 or 5 of these to fill all of your fan slots, hesitate no more!
