These cartoons have great animation and music. While the kids will enjoy the action, adults can relate to the smart humor and inside jokes. Let's just say that I am over 30, and both my mother and I really enjoy watching the Penguins! Totally kid safe, but not moronic, either.

Are you kidding, it's the Penguins of Madagascar for heavens sake! They stole the movie for me and I have enjoyed them ever since. (My DVR is almost full because of the cartoon show.)
As to this DVD, the best, of course, is the title toon, but all are fun, especially "Eclipsed" about King Julien and the Sky Spirits. I'm getting all the DVDs so I can use my DVR again.

We've got all of the Penguin dvds that have been released so far and this is one of my favorites. The zombie episode is hilarious!! If you like the penguins and aren't sure which of the dvds to get, I would recommend this one and the "New to the Zoo" dvds.. they have the best compilations so far.

We just love the Penguin movie at my house. I have two small boys 4 & 8 and they got us to start buying all these and I'm so glad they did. You will laugh and find that all your troubles will just melt while you are watching this and you will get hooked on their antics. And the best thing about the penguine movies, the whole family can sit together and watch them.These little guys have a solution for everything and the teamwork efforts they have are really good to instill into little minds these days. This is funny, entertaining, clean and most of all addicting.

Nickelodeon doesn't seem to be broadcasting Penguins of Madagascar episodes any longer, and Verizon FIOS doesn't offer them On-Demand, so I purchased all 8 available Penguins DVDs from Amazon. This one is excellent, and so are the seven other DVDs. The total running time on this one is 88 minutes and the episodes are: I Was A Penguin Zombie; Driven to the Brink; Haunted Habitat; Lemur See, Lemur Do; Eclipsed; Mort Unbound; Misfortune Cookie; and It's About Time.
