I have had dentures for 46 years and am on my 3rd set because I take good care of them. Once I tried Dentu-Creme I knew I had found a product that would allow my mouth to feel clean but diminish the odor that CAN occur if they are not cared for properly.
Because I have found that soaking 1st then using that soaking water with my Dentu-Creme for scrubbing(always in a plugged sink with water in it in case they slip out of my hand) and holding on firmly I scrub them inside and out. I Then rinse them with clear water and sometimes spray them with a mixture of vinegar and water...3 parts water to 1 part vinegar...rinse them under the running water briefly and they feel like fine china in my mouth. Also with my 1st set...way way back....that dentist told me never to leave my teeth out of my mouth like overnight(unless they hurt of course) because it will change the structure of your mouth over time and they will then not fit properly. I have taken his advice all these years.

I am 53 years old and being a recent denture wearer for almost one year, I've learned a lot about what to use and not. I like Polident Dentu*Gel 100% better than the creme. The gel is much less abrasive on the dentures than the creme plus the creme is more difficult,at least for me, to clean off the toothbrush. If I have to use the creme because I run out of toothpaste I do, but again the gel is by far, far much better.

I've been a denture wearer for six years, and this is the only toothpaste I'll ever use. Love it! It's minty fresh without being overpowering, and gets dentures sparkling clean without danger of harsh abrasives. I at least partially attribute this to my current (and only) set of dentures still looking like new.

Works well enough if you're away from home and unable to soak your dentures. However, soaking them is ideally the best way to keep them nice and white. Also, you CANNOT use this product with the dentures in your mouth. I thought it could be used as toothpaste and I wouldn't need to remove dentures....lol guess I'm just too new for all of this. Anyway, it does a good enough cleaning, but it's a little time consuming removing dentures, cleaning (brushing them) and then thoroughly rinsing and drying them. I prefer to soak them, but I known I'm going to use the Dent-Creme
again. Especially when I'm not in the privacy of my own home.

This is great paste. My dentist told me to use dish soap on my dentures, but I have decades of brushing my teeth with toothpaste. I could not break myself of that fresh bite one gets in the morning while brushing with toothpaste. Plus, I like to brush/scrub my tongue and gums. This cream is of course good for the dentures, but it is just like regular tooth paste: very minty.
