I like this style shelf for displaying my kids books- it helps them to see what books I've currently borrowed from the library, piquing their interest as they can see the cover. My daughter more readily reads the books I've borrowed. I had kept them in a book basket or bag, and they wouldn't get as easily noticed and read, so this has been helpful. Just wish they made them in a larger sized and with adjustable shelves (to go up higher or lower).

This display is sturdy and looks nice but literature tends to fall off because the shelves are not sloped and there is nothing to hold them in place. We have found the need to add a retaining rod a few inches above each shelf to hold things in place.

We purchased this literature rack for my mother's Church in honor of her memory. She was a long-time parishioner and had the self-appointed job of making sure that the Church was well-stocked with religious reading materials.
