This fan is very well built. It has metal blades which are an improvement over some the plastic bladed ones. It does make a little noise, however it does move a lot of air. I guess you have to have a tradeoff somewhere. Overall it is a very nice product.

This bad boy can push some air... No wiring diagram so cords are a little tricky to figure out and wire, but its just black/black, white/black and ground to the brass screw on the fan..Easy once ya know it. Sucks the air right out of my cooltube.....Seller was on point in shipping also...

I received this fan about 2 weeks ago and it's running fine at about 8 hours a day on and off. No spike in voltage when turned off like I was worried about. It also pumps quite a bit of air through about 12 feet of curvy ducting.

Now about sound.. I saw lots of reviews complaining that it was the equivalent of a jet engine. These people must either be sleeping with this thing next to their head, or are unnecessarily sensitive to any sound at all. It has a nice hum to it, but I haven't noticed any noise outside of the ordinary. It does vibrate and oscillate quite a bit, so I suspended it in air with some rubber cords to absorb the vibrations. With my setup running in the room directly next to my computer, I can barely tell it's running.

p.s. The screws and bolts need to be tightened before use. This helps on sound as well.

This fan does work. Yes. It blows and sucks lots of air. It's loud.
But that's not what this review is about...
when you unplug it or shut off this fan, the transient spike (the power that goes back into your line) is really freakin' high. I am using this to cool off a closet with computers. When I shut the fan off, (like unplug it from the wall), it cause a huge popping sound on the loudspeakers and causes the monitors to flicker off/on. I measured the wall outlets on the same circuit when doing this with a multimeter and it SPIKED TO OVER 1200 VOLTS!!! This is crazy and WILL eventually kill electronics that might be on the same circuit as this fan.

I'm hoping that I can figure out a way to prevent this spike. If I do, I will update this review. Otherwise, I would really think long and hard about plugging this time-bomb into a circuit with anything else on it.

Amazing little fan. I have 3x3x6.5 tent. Turn it on, and it will move the air right out. No louder than my 2 LED lights, with 3 fans on each. Actually very quiet. Will not notice noise at all. Once again, quiet, move airs very well. If it's durable and long lasting, have a winner here.

Received yesterday. Shipping was on time. If you were at all concerned the cord did come attached. All I had to do was plug it in and it started immediately.

The fan is constructed really well and seemed pretty sturdy. Packaging was fine. I don't see the possibility of it being damaged in transit under normal circumstances. After turning it on (did I mention the cord was attached?) I did not notice any rattling or scraping sounds. It pushes a good amount of air, so much that it surprised me. When I turned it on I actually set it on the table to see if It could "hover" or something? I realized how dumb this is but I did try it. (It does not hover in case anyone was wondering)

The only bad I guess would be that it might be a little too loud for my use. I am not really sure what I was expecting as no where does it say "uber ultra stealth quiet fan" and it is not.

Overall good product with good packaging, pre-assembled, solid construction and pushes a good amount of air. Did not 5star as it did not fly away from it's own air power.

I've had this installed for a couple of months now and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. The fan is a little loud but not unlike a floor fan blowing in the room. I purchased a temperature controlled plug that I mounted on the wall and plugged this unit into it. It allows the fan to run whenever the room gets warmer or cooler (depending on the setting) than the rest of the house, thus equalizing the temperature of the room with the temperature of the rest of the house. This product appears to be well built and designed for years of use. Time will tell.

IT'S A GOOD EXHAUST FAN... it works. It does push good air but it's noisy and sometimes you don't want a wheezing in your ear all the time. So yea, nice fan; but the casing could be made to be more quiet. I took care of it by wrapping it with black pipe foam covers. Worked great as a silencer. thanks.
