My wife likes to read in the tub. This is not a big problem with paperback books, but it IS a big problem with electronics. This waterproof case allows her to read her Kindle in the tub with no fear of ruining it. The buttons are all easily accessible and operate fine. This is a great product at a reasonable price.

Being an avid scuba diver and frequent traveler to feed my habit, this is perfect for my Kindle. I can sit by the pool, on the beach, even on the dive boat and don't have to worry about any issues. Very easy to access all the features on my Kindle with the cover on, and the neck strap is an added safety feature so that no droppage occurs.

Kindle lovers-protect your pages! When on vacation, sitting at either the beach or the pool this is a sure way to keep your kindle safe from sand and water. Another good use is when you set it on the table and your beverage sweats you will not have to worry that anything will get passed the waterproof case. I have used mine several times and am completely satisfied.

I wished they had included a silica pack. Condensation became an issue at moderately high temps and humtidy

I purchased this to go with me on a Caribbean cruise, so using it in the sun was going to be a constant. The product is definitely waterproof, and it's easy to use, but it has a pretty bad glare in direct sunlight. I decided to send it back and get something else for the cruise, and the customer service is fantastic. They even refunded the original shipping. So, if you're on the fence about buying this, go ahead - see if it works for your purposes. If you aren't using it in direct sunlight, even partial shade works, you should be fine.

After reading the reviews here and on a Kindle discussion group, I ordered this item for a beach/pool trip. On the discussion board some people felt that a "zip-lock" bag was enough protection, but after using the TrendyDigital WaterGuard Plus Waterproof Case with Padding, Detachable Straps for Kindle DX (Both Original Kindle DX and Kindle DX Graphite Wireless Reading Device, Wireless , 9.7" Display), Blue - there is no way I would trust a "zip-lock" to protect my Kindle Wireless Reading Device, Wi-Fi, Graphite, 6" Display with New E Ink Pearl Technology.

What I liked:

- Triple closure: There are two "zip-lock" type closures, then you fold it those up and snap a closure on top of that. No way water is getting in!
- Padding: It's a jell type material with some padding. Also, the plastic used is thick and looks like it will hold up well overtime (I hope!)
- Crystal Clear: Easy to see through and navigate your Kindle
- Small: Fits into a beach bag or purse with ease
- Unisex: My husband had no issues using it or feeling silly pool side.
- Seller: Quick to respond to inquiries and professional

There's really nothing I didn't like and so glad I have this case now for my future beach/pool reading days!

I am forever dropping magazines and books into the spa tub when I get a pedicure. (by accident of course) I was yearning to bring my Kindle with me, but with my being so clumsy I couldn't take a chance. I was looking for a waterproof carryall and after doing a thorough search, I found this one. It is THE best waterproof carryall I've seen yet for Kindle. Here are the best features:

1. It has a padded back so when you place the kindle on a suface it doesn't get jousled. Also, the reading pane is very clear so you can read your Kindle with ease.
2. It has not one, but 2 ziplocks on the top and when you double fold down the locked areas, it has a 3rd fold over that snaps closed. So with the 3 locks/snaps it locks out all possibility of any fluids getting in. I've tested it and it really works.
3. It has a nice sturdy strap that is adjustable and which you can hang around your neck or shoulder so that your kindle can't "escape".

Now I take my Kindle with me when I go to have my pedicures done and I stand no chance of ever dropping it into the spa water. I've seen other waterproof carryalls, but many of them don't have straps available.

A most wonderful product. Definitely a keeper!

I purchased this waterproof case for a 2 week beach vacation in Mexico. The problem I had is that the humid air condensed on the inside of the case. I dried it out with a soft cloth, left it open for a while and then tossed it back into my beach bag. The 85 degree weather fused both sides of the vinyl together so I had to throw it out and revert to using a zip-lock bag (which worked fairly well).

On the positive side, it worked well for my Kindle Fire until it fused itself together. If your need is to keep your Kindle dry in the tub, hot tub, etc, it should work well.
