As you can tell from the 1st review on this item, Its obvious that it is not something for people who do NOT know how to use a choke chain. FYI: 1)It is not adjustable. Its not meant to be adjustable. Thats why they come in exact sizes. 2) It does not come with a clasp because its not meant to have a clasp. Its a choke and release collar. If it had a clasp, it wouldnt be able to do its job. Also, in order for it to work while you are walking the dog. You need to have your dog on your right side, in order for the collar to relase. When your dog is wearing the collar and you pull on the leash, if the collar makes the shape of a "q" then it is on the dog wrong and will not relase correctly. It needs to look like the letter "p" so the circle the of the letter "p" would represent the collar and the line of the letter "p" represents the leash. to get the collar to be a circle chain(like a necklace) instead of being a chain line, you have to fold the chain part and slide it all the way down through one of the rings and then the collar will be connected as a circle so you can put it on your dogs neck. And please do your dog a favor. Do not keep this collar choked up on the dog the whole time because you dont know how to walk a dog with a choke chain or a dog thats untrained. When you dog pulls you or doesnt listen. You give him alittle "check" by doing a quick firm pull to the leash which then gives the dog a quick choke up for get this attention and you do this everytime until he obeys it doesnt literally choke you dog when you do it. If its worn correct it will release immediately. To end, it a good collar and cute item. So measure you dogs neck and give alittle bit of room to allow you to put the collar on and off over the dogs head. Hope this was helpful for anyone who does not know how to use a choke chain.

What can you say about a dog collar? Great price! I have a 60 lb. tan lab. This is the first collar my dog hasn't destroyed within a few days of purchase. Also, none of the problems with smell that leather and nylon have. It's pink so you know she's a she.

My dog's neck is 16" but this 20" collar was so-oo hard to get over her head! I did not anticipate this problem & now I have to cut it off with metal clippers to get it off!! It's a great color for a black UK Pit bull, the coating is great but it measures 19", not the 20" as described. Wished it had fit properlY

I absolutely love this collar. It’s true to color and while yes there was a little paint missing between links, you can’t tell unless you are really looking close. Only problem is; it’s not 20”. I sent the first one back and received yet another replacement that was too short. Both measured 18” and neither fit around my dogs pretty little fat head. Back it goes…

Product is vibrant and cute. The 20 inch in my opinion runs small. I have a German shepherd and this does not work at all as a chocker chain because it wont go over her head. We just use it as her walking collar. So we just clip both ends to the leash since it wont stay on her any other way.

This collar was adorable at first on my dog but only lasted a couple months until it started chipping paint off. I would have been fine with the paint chipping off for the price I paid but the metal underneath the paint then started making my dogs neck all grey which was a major downside of the collar.

Looked great when it arrived but within six weeks, the powder coating came off, leaving black marks all around the dog's neck. I would've hoped that the price I paid for it would assure that the product would be better quality, but these things happen. I must add that she's as inside dog so it's not as if she's hard on collars,
This is the only Amazon purchase that I've been unhappy with. They're usually terrific.
