I absolutely must have a drafting brush for all of my graphite and colored pencil work. I was working on a graphite piece Wednesday and lost my freakin' drafting brush!! I have had a few over the years but this one had always interested me so I got it Amazon Prime and paid for Saturday delivery and I was most certainly not disappointed. I think it works better than the average drafting brush, possibly because of the softness, it feels like the goat-hair hake brush that I used to use. The only downside is that my cat thinks it's her friend and tries to groom it but I can deal with that. If you've been wondering about this, give it a go, it is different but it works better and it is more gentle.

I use this for pencil drawing. The goat hair is very soft & full. Perfectly sweeps eraser residues. The wood handle feels very nice in the hand, and the overall design is well weighted, and the bristles well set. Its a pleasure to use. The hanging hole is useful. It's fantastic for the price!

This brush is so soft!!! i never imagined it to be this soft from the pictures but it's amazingly soft. It's a fairly narrow brush, when looking at it from the front it looks like a closed fan. The bristles are incredibly gentle and it works great for pretty much anything on which you'd use a small brush or cloth. The wood is firm and sealed, so it is nonabrasive when gripping it. The drilled hole for lacing a string through it is a little bit rough but I don't mind it. Thank you for providing this product, I'm definitely going to buy more!!

This is a great find for a useful, very soft, little brush. While my purchase was intended only for use in my bee hives, to get bees off the frames of honey when they are harvested, I had to purchase a second for dusting my delicate glass figurines. I've never seen such a wonderfully full and soft brush before. It works very well at both tasks. Now, I've discovered that it is the perfect brush to use on myself and my husband after a haircut. Sweeps away every little piece of hair, quickly and softly. I'm ordering my 3rd and 4th brushes today ... one for the haircut kit and another for the beeyard that is growing.

I've had no problems with the brushes shedding excessively. A few hairs here and there, but that is about it.

I draw with graphite pencils and use this to sweep away bits after erasing. Sure hairs have come out but not like it's shedding a lot. It's a nice soft brush that doesn't do a bit of harm to the drawing. I like the rounded handle because it makes it easy to pick up from a flat surface. If anything ever happened to it I'd definitely want to replace it with the same thing.

Wouldn't be with out this brush. Have you ever gone to brush colored pencil crumbs or eraser crumbs off your drawing with your hand only to make smears and possibly ruin your drawing. Years ago I had that problem and then I got on to this brush. This is the best one yet. The bristles are very lightweight and soft but do the job perfectly. They get every last bit of pencil residue and eraser crumbs off your work with out a mess. I have even used one of these to dust the key board on my laptop. I would think this brush would also work well for dusting figurines because it would not damage the piece but would get into the tight places. I am going to buy another one just for that reason.

Very soft, well made, should last forever. Made in Germany. A better solution for the tops of books and computer keyboards than a vacuum since it's quite attractive and can be left out, thus will be used frequently. Wood is varnished, hanging hole, bristles well seated. I don't know if I'd have taken a chance on this at the full price, but having seen it, it was well worth the original price.

I bought this brush for large format ink jet printing, matting and framing. It's probably overkill but it's very well made and really soft. No chance it will damage delicate paper. Truth be told, after reading a review from one VERY happy owner it seemed this brush might be the key to perpetual happiness and enlightenment! Well, that didn't quite pan out but it is a fine brush nonetheless. Could not ask for more.
