He needed to replace the fire guard under the hood of his car....we found the fire guard and these clips that fit perfectly and saved us alot of money instead of needing to take it to the Mercedes dealership to have them do the job. You need to replace the clips once the fire guard is removed. You can't re-use the old clips.

A perfect replacement to secure the hood liner on my 1997 SL500, highly recommended. Would also suggest the purchase of a trim removal kit for under $10 to take the old ones off, I bent the metal somewhat trying to pry them loose with pliers.
