The photo is very misleading. These are not the same design as pictured.
The clips I received were much simpler in design - they simply split once, and these two halves are forced open when you insert the rivet. The rivet does not snap itself into the assembly in any way, and once you insert the clip into a piece of trim, it can work itself out halfway. They haven't fallen out yet, but they look ridiculous, hanging halfway out of the holes.
Obviously not a huge expense, but definitely a waste of money. I'm not going to risk being misled again; just going to purchase OEM clips from the dealer.
