I spent $30 on door clips through my body shop connection for OE BMW parts. Retail price was closer to $60. These clips, which my wife bought for less than $10 are nicer quality, a better fit in the door and panel, and gave me enough spares to be able to break a few without sweating bullets.

These fit my 1997 328i sedan. Buy the 50 pack, each door uses many clips and you go through them. To remove pull back and twist off. Take your time and if a black holder breaks off, you can contact cement it back.
