I don't like the way it's one inch wider in the front than in the back. I suppose the idea is to keep you from overfilling it and having things packed too tight together. When you put several of these side-by-side and fill them as much as the narrow back will allow, there are messy looking gaps between your books or pamphlets. Also, due to not being square, you can't tell if you have them straight on the shelf after they are full. They just look messy all the time.

I do like the open top, which allows tall items. It is sturdy enough for the job.

Got these to hold school books and notebooks. They work pretty well, but one thing I don't like about them is the back is narrower than the front opening. This makes it awkward for them to sit side-by-side together and it doesn't look that great when trying to keep them straight next to each other.

These topple over whenever a book or binder is removed. They are rather flimsy. As long as they are wedged together on a shelve, they are sufficient. My kids have to be careful, though; I noticed when they put a book back on the side, they sometimes catch the edge in the open space and ruin the pages.
