These brushes are an excellent buy. They are well made and have good body and paint holding characteristics. I bought them to use in both watercolor and acrylic and am highly pleased with their quality and performance. These are my rough brushes, I have some very expensive kolinsky brushes that I save for when I am doing detail work, delicate stuff, and stuff that I want the higher quality for.
