This is not the glass replacement like the original. I like this one better. Its lighter than the glass one and I don't have to worry about it breaking. I bought it as an extra to use when we are serving different beverages.

We bought this to replace the original glass pitcher we broke - no surpise there. It works just the same, is lighter, is easier to clean, is obviously more durable (which can be important when alcohol is involved), and is a lot cheaper than glass. We bought 2 - just in case.

And, though possibly not the fault of the product, I have had to watch out for the blend material getting stuck at the top and not getting blended. A run away blender that only blends part of the content.

We have problems with this one leaking. We tightened as much as we could, but gasket seems like it does not like cold.
Does not have pour flip top like the pitcher that comes with Margaritaville.
The opening is different than the original, so you get a lot of splash out when making a full blender.
