I live on a fixed income so I always look to buy products that are good while being affordable to me. This brush set has filled all of the above. I paint ceramics and while I don't need high end brushes, I do want brushes that last and hold their shape. An these fit the bill for me.

These are good for simple things. The kind of paint brushes you would find in an grade school art room. Good quality for the price but not good enough for serious painters.

These are atrocious. I bought these for an intro to art two week intercession class since I didn't need anything fancy or to last forever but these are worthless. I tried to use them (the ones designated) with acrylic paint and they shed EVERYWHERE! Plus they didn't paint smooth strokes at all the texture ended up so scratchy! It was awful! I had to abandon my project and go to buy more brushes from the local big box craft store. I threw these away. What a waste!

I didn't have super high expectations for these brushes. I knew they were cheap so I couldn't expect much. They are paint brushes but they aren't the best. When I first opened the brushes, I noticed they were extremely hard as if they had been used but realized there was some protective stuff on the bristles. After washing them under some water, they were better..not soft, but better. I used these to paint some wine glasses and it did the job but some of the brushes are useless. The smaller ones are way too thin and it's hard to add details to anything when brushes are so thin.

I would never purchase these again but as I said, they served a purpose only because I didn't have anything else. However, I will be saving my money in order to purchase better ones.

So overall, if you have the money for the better ones, buy those. Not these.

the Loew Cornell 1018 Brush Set is a great set for any age or skill level. The bristles are soft and securely attached to brush. At no time while painting with these brushes did we lose any bristles. With wide variety of brush width's and styles, everyone was able to find a brush that suited them to use for thier project. These brushes were easy to clean and store. Great product. Thanks a bunch for an awesome quality product!

At our place of business we use paint brushes like crazy. Always trying to wash them out to make them last as long as possible. Sometimes you miss a few and there goes $4.00 to $5.00. With these they work pretty darn good and the price is so incredible it's no big deal if you have to throw one or two away before their time. please everybody buy them so they stay available.
