Easy Wash and Care

I bought the XL dog bed for my 45 lb black lab mix (see pictures for reference).It's pretty huge on her and she could have went with the large easily. More room for her to sprawl out though, which is a perk, but it takes up a good bit of my apartment living room. This bed could easily handle a dog double or maybe triple her size. Maybe a Great Dane or a St. Bernard might find it a cozy fit, but that's about it.
I was worried about the reviews of the quality. Let me assure you that the bed is well made. I'm happy with the comfort of it. Heck, I know that I've slept on less comfortable things. My husband joked that he might sleep there because it had a nice padding (For reference, my husband is 6'1 and could easily make himself comfortable on the mattress if he wanted to- not that he would, but just as a reference of how spacious this thing is). For a pooch this is pretty lush I think. The egg crate foam is something you could find in stores for your own bed, and imagine its about the same grade. It's not Tempurpedic, but I don't know if they make Tempurpedic doggie beds (though I wouldn't be surprised at all).
I know my dog is smaller for her bed but the bed foam appears to hold her weight easily. It doesn't feel cheap or like it will flatten, but I've only had this bed for a day or so, so I'll update this review in 2 months to say how its holding up.
The important thing is my dog is happy with it and I'm happy with the quality, and that it matches my furniture.
I tried to think of cons, and the only one I could think up was, and my dog isn't a chewer so its not an issue with me, that it could be easily chewed by dogs who like chowing down on fabric. The fabric in the center seems thinner and it's looser fabric (i.e.Read more ›

We got this as a gift for our 10 pound Pomeranian, and she loves it! We were debating whether or not to get the small or medium because she is a toy dog, but after looking at the posted pictures of other buyers, we chose to get the medium. We are glad we got the medium - it's perfect for her. She has enough room to move around, change position, etc. whereas the small would only fit her toosh! The color is a dark gray color as shown in the picture.

Previously, I had purchased at least 6 dog beds, the flat ortho foam type but my 88# Lab mix never seemed comfortable and kept sneaking onto my white couch at night.I purchased this bed for him in a large after reading the reviews. The bed fit him fine but he could not truly stretch out. I decided to give that one to our 70# shepherd mix and purchased an x-lg a month later. To my surprise, it was a different color of brown and I like things to match. Amazon was very helpful and offered to do whatever it would take to satisfy me. I ended up taking a credit and purchased a second x-lg for the smaller dog. I wish they would've made the x-lg a 45" because they take up considerable floor space but both dogs absolutely love these beds. They are very easy clean and my dog has stopped trying to sneak onto the couch after we go to bed:) Both dogs like to curl next to the bolster or put their head on it like a pillow. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 only because of color issue, otherwise, definitely a 5 star!! bed.
