Great briefcase

This is a great looking and functional briefcase. It's made from high quality leather with double stitching and looks very professional. From an appearance standpoint, looks like a bag that would cost 2-3 times more. Plenty of space for a laptop, files, and office supplies. The pockets are gusseted which helps with organization and it stays upright when placed on the ground (things that seem minor but from past experience make a big difference). The customer service is fantastic, I had an issue with the shoulder strap and they sent a replacement immediately with no questions asked. Overall, really pleased with this purchase and recommend it without reservation.

Love this thing.

This briefcase is made of fine leather, look as though it is much more than what you pay here on Amazon. It is absolutely beautiful as well as spacious.

I do not recommend the BLACK VERSION for professionals as the white stitching is unsightly, tacky and frankly quite cheap looking.

The brown is superb, however. Indeed, it's a classy shade that will age well. Overall, it's a timeless design and I have received many compliments since walking around with this thing.

It is a gift for my husband. He loved it, I loved it. My goodness that comes out reaking of the scent of magnificent leather. Its beautiful. I ordered the brown one and I had to return the first one because I wanted it perfect and it had a few scratches. I received a second one with no problems, excellent customer service. Thank you.

Well made, great value

I recieved the Floto Venezia briefcase some tine ago. I was very impressed with the quality of the manufacture. The stitching (in many cases DOUBLE stitching)is very durable and should prevent any seams opening for the life of the item (which should be many years indeed). The bag has no problem standing upright by itself. The color is a rich, dark reddish brown. On the brown the contrast stitching is quite attractive. However I would consider contrast stitching on the black as looking cheap. It is worthy of note that the three internal dividers are constructed of thick leather (rather than fiberboard or plastic). However the middle division is not cushioned or padded to resist shock on a possible laptop. The hinge pins on the handle are inserted in such a way that they cannot come out - considering that loose or lost handle pins are a regular complaint in bags by Mancini and McKlein. The handle itself is molded out of leather and quite comfortable. For the price I paid here at Amazon ($239) I consider this brief to be an exceptional value. It looks very professional (in brown).

Great Briefcase

I needed a new briefcase and after reading the reviews on this one I decided to give it a try. It arrived wrapped in a protective cloth. It's beautiful, the leather is soft and plyable. The interior is devided into 4 compartments and it come with a locking latch. Buy it you won't be sorry.

I LOVE THIS!! I did some research on brief cases and was really surprised that I found this on amazon. This was at the top of the list for everday use for executives. When this came in, I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of this. The color is a little lighter than the actual image. If anything, it was more of a cognac color, which makes it look more unique. My husband received a lot of compliments on this, and I am so glad for this purchase.

I'm sort of a leather goods snob, and bought this thing just to see what it looked like in person. I needed a brown briefcase for to and from work use, mainly. I thought the made in Italy thing was a joke and that it would be flimsy, with corrected grain leather, etc. But I have to say that this is worth every penny. I just conditioned it, and it looks like a bag costing twice as much as it does. So, it's a keeper. If you're thinking it may be junk because of the price, buy it. It's great.

Classic and Smart Looking

Beautiful Italian briefcase! The deep, slightly reddish-hued brown leather is very attractive. The inside of the bag is amazingly roomy, with 3 or 4 dividers. The easily detachable shoulder strap is adjustable (very important) and the front flap with one lock makes the bag very easy to get into and out of without having to deal with separate loops or straps. Very classic and smart looking, and such a great deal for the price! My only concern would be how soon and to what extent the brown leather will begin to show its wear.
