I bought this for my 1.5 yr old princess of a daughter and its been 6 months and she still loves this puzzle very much. We have 6 wood puzzles including some from this brand and some from Melissa and Doug. And this is the one she wants to play with every time we go for a puzzle. It is very helpful that the picture is Great quality and ON BOTH the wood frame and the individual pieces. (unlike the Melissa Doug animal puzzle we have) I believe the puzzle has educational value- learning how to put it together, is Sturdy and easy to put together and break it apart. Got this for my 3 year old. She loves the puzzle. it is a lot more challenging than the normal small puzzles that each piece goes to its own hole, but that is what she needed because the other ones were to easy for her. She loves it of course that is is princess. Also the picture is on the puzzle board behind the pieces so it helps a lot for her to figure out where each piece goes. The pieces are a little stiff and hard to put together But I am sure after a while of it being played with it will loosen up. Will buy more if I can find others like this one

Our 18 month old wanted more challenging puzzles as she was getting bored of the chunky Melissa & Doug puzzles. This was one of the set we got her and it's a nice learning set. It helps to bridge the gap from chunky puzzles because it has the image of what the puzzle should look like on the inset of the puzzle board. We try to teach her to use the board as a guide, and she's quickly catching on. The 12 piece Melissa & Doug puzzles do not have the puzzle image on the board so we don't use them yet. The puzzle is very easy connect and disconnect too.

Bought this for my 2 year and 2 month old daughter for Christmas. This puzzle is durable and she plays with it all the time (we've done it more than 50 times!) The best part is the puzzle picture is printed on the inside of the wooden tray and this makes it perfect for beginners-much less frustrating and the number of pieces is perfect. For the money its a decent value. Highly recommend if your child loves Disney Princesses and puzzles.

The Cardinal puzzles are wonderful. Having the picture printed on the board helps build confidence in little ones who are just catching on to puzzles. Once they've mastered the puzzle you can just cover/hide the picture with construction paper and it creates a new challenge to put it together without the picture. Great colors and pictures. My almost 2 year old granddaughter has 3 of these now and just feels so proud when she finishes putting them together.

My 2 1/2 year old got this puzzle a few months ago and she's done it multiple times a day, EVERY day, since then. It's just enough pieces to be slightly challenging but not too frustrating for a toddler, and the faces and different color dresses make it easier to figure out. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars for durability since a piece of wood has chipped off one of the pieces, but this puzzle has been heavily used and also survived several suitcases so I don't consider that much of a flaw. I highly recommend this puzzle, even if your little one isn't familiar with the characters yet.

I bought this puzzle for my 2 year old daughter about a month ago, she loves it and wants to play with it every day! Of course our daughter being in love with Disney princesses helps. The puzzle is only 12 pieces, so it is not too hard nor too easy for her. The puzzle needs some "break in" time, at first the pieces held together too tight and it was hard for my daughter to take apart and piece together, but in time they loosened up. Only problem I have with the product is that although the puzzle is "wood" the top print is a separate layer, so the edges are peeling off on some of the pieces. Even with the drawback, since it is very affordable, you and you kids will definitely get a lot of mileage out of it.
