BLACKHAWK! TASER C2 Holster review

The ballistic nylon could be stiffer, too bendable, compared to the holster that comes with the C2; the holster that comes with the C2 is hard to snap shut though unless you wrap around the band directly atop the C2 (not around the holster material) so you have less circumference and it'll snap shut; still a tight fit though.

This holster does not have that problem, snaps close well. Also this holster you can insert the C2 front side down or up, depending on how you like to draw the C2; the holster that comes with the C2, the front end has to face up due to how the holster is constructed.

Does the job as a holster, I wish they made a C2 holster with a spare round holder for easy access.

Fantastic Alternative to Generic Holster!

I'm in California working 6 days a week, either security or bouncing at local Night Clubs and high-end Bars.

The original Holster for the C2 was fine, until I changed duty belts, at which point the clasp on the Holster was just a bit too small for my new nylon "snapping" tactical belt (bigger than 2".)

I was very disappointed, and very unsure about "what to do" that would still allow me to carry the C2 on this super-thick tactical velcro belt (Law Enforcement, Security, Military-style Velcro Snappers.)

I bought this, just PRAYING it would be big enough to accommodate really thick duty belts, and I lucked out.

This Holster will fit your duty belt, I can pretty much guarantee that. It isn't "hardened" like the original, but it holds the device in two different ways and will slip on and off your belt, easy.

I suggest carrying at least two C2 refills on you in a tactical belt pouch like I do, and investing in a C2 back-up battery LONG before you'll actually need it.

Works with 2 1/4" Duty Belt

Just purchased one of these and in case anyone is wondering, yes, the attached plastic belt loop (not a clip) easily works with a 2 1/4" duty belt (Bianchi Accumold, in my case). Also, unfortunately I wasn't able to find a single or double-cartridge pouch (for Taser C2 cartidges) that worked with my duty belt, however, the Bianchi Rail-Mounted Light Pouch 8027 (31400) works great - allows me to easily grasp a cartridge without having to dig for it.

Good quality case and concept but no belt clip

I like the case as far as ease of use. Seems to be easy in and out and like the taser being help vertical instead of horizontal like my current case. My only issue is I thought it had a clip so you could clip it on your belt or pants. Instead it just has a belt loop which just awkward to me. May just be my personal preference. Other than that seemed okay. I returned it though because it didn't have the clip.

Good holster

I bought this to hold Vipertek stun gun. The Viperteck is a bit small and one cannot get a good purchase on the weapon to draw it comfortably. Also the thumb break system wraps completely around the weapon handle snapping in the back and is somewhat awkward. I modified the strap and now use this holster to hold my Terminator 160 Lumen Tactical flashlight stun gun (similar to the guard dog), it works well...

Better than Taser's own C2 holsters

This is a really nice holster that holds the C2 securely, and allows a one-handed draw (something Taser's own C2 holsters don't seem to be designed for). The thumb-break strap takes some getting used to, but works well. Re-holstering one-handed is a bit more tricky, but can be done. My main concern would be the long-term durability of the belt loop; mine feels solid at the moment though. I should mention that at first I was worried that re-holstering would retract the C2's trigger safety cover, but this has never been an issue. Would buy this again.
