I wear the socks and gloves in my yoga class at my university. Before buying this item when I was in class doing yoga my palms and feet would sweat and I would slide all over my mat, making it hard for me to stay in positions. While I am wearing the socks and gloves, however, I remain still on my mat and no longer slip. The gloves have amazing grip, but the socks have limited grip on the toe regions despite a great grip everywhere else. I would say for the price this product is a must have for people doing yoga who sweat. Also, I am a size 10.5 shoe and the socks are made for size 9 shoe, but they still fit and work well for me.

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but my hands and feet sweat a lot and even though there's good grip on the outside, it's hard for me to hold poses sometimes as it is slippery on the inside. If it weren't for my sweating it'd be great!

These Yoga socks made such a big difference for me. They are great because they allow me to focus on my movements rather than on my hands and feet slipping. The only downside is the material is fairly loosely knit, so they stretch out a bit after one use. Also, after using them for about 3 weeks now, 3 times a week, I am a bit concerned that the stickiness of the rubber gripping could eventually wear out, possibly sooner than later, but so far so good. Other than that, they are great. I don't even notice I am wearing them except that they keep my toes nice and warm!!!

These have helped me take my yoga practice to the next level, but with a lot of foot repositioning the socks slide a little so that the grippy part ends up partly on the side of my foot, not on the sole. Takes a little readjusting but all in all, a good product. Plus, it comes with a complimentary yoga workout to download.

During downward dog I still slip a bit, but short of superglueing rubber grippies on the flesh of my own hands I don't believe that Gaiam could have done a better job. I really like the embroidered logos on the backs of the hands and ankles! I would recommend to my own best friend.
