This was a steal at this price and quantity. If you have a lot of rears to clean including your own and are on a limited budget and in college while raising kids - I so totally recommend buying your sundry and household items this way. It makes so much more sense than buying a 4 or 12 pack each one to 3 weeks. This more than pays for itself when you buy on the SSS or Prime.

The product is still good, but the company's continued reduction in size has caused me to reduce the review from 5 to 4 stars. I was angry and almost gave it 3 stars. The Scott company is playing with fire as consumers will catch on and they will lose many customers. How about selling a version for more money but with the old size width?

I love this tissue, I don't have to worry about guests clogging the toilet with paper and it does what it's supposed to do. My GMIL swears by scott tissue and I took her advice, I think I will be sticking with this particular type as well. I have a household with 2 adults and 2 bathrooms, we go through both rolls in about a month period... so one roll per person per month is not bad.

When I was young, the 1000 sheet Scott toilet paper rolls were so fat that when you put them in the dispenser, they actually pushed up against the walls of it and it was difficult to roll until it had beeon used several times. Granted the rolls were actually too thick.

That said, they've gone way, way too far in the other direction now!

First they made the actual paper thinner, so you have to now unroll and unroll and unroll away until you get enough of a wad that's useable.. This is very labor intensive and just plain frustrating. It looks like it's been used for a few days when brand new!!

On top of that, with this last 36 pack I bought, the rolls are now so narrow across the roll width that the roller is quite exposed and the roll moves from side to side! If I push the roll to one side, the space to the side wall on the other side is a huge 3/4"!!! Unbelievable.

To add insult to injury, they still waistfully wrap each roll individually in paper in some of the value packs (36ct) that they could be putting into the rolls. Who needs them wrapped for residential use???? And just slows down the roll replacement process so the lazy folks in the house leave it to me to do :(.

They could also eliminate the cardboard roll and just roll the paper to a smaller opening diameter to fit 1000 sheets of a thicker (and softer) paper on the roll. I'd pay extra for that kind of quality and thoughtful design.

I think it's gotten softer over the years, so one pro. It doesn't scratch the way it used to.

All I want is a toilet tissue that makes a wad in just a pull or two, doesn't irritate my skin or clog the sewers, where one roll lasts a long time and is quick and easy to replace, and that I can buy in large value packages. $.Read more ›

Who doesn't need toilet paper???? My problem was the kids.....the adult kids. Every time they came over I would be missing a couple rolls.Buying in bulk (and hiding them) helps a lot. Always buy toilet in bulk. Thank you
