I do not understand why folks don't like these. These hobbles are fantastic!

I am currently milking 5 Nubian Goats. Three of them are new to milking. Without these hobbles I could not get the job done. I took a while for me to train the goats to stand still while I attached them, but once in place the goats all stand quietly and let me milk.

I no longer have to fight a dancing goat or scream when a filthy hoof enters my milk pail.

It is so much easier to milk with these hobbles. I have two pairs, as I never want to be without them.

Really wish I would've gotten these a couple months ago... before my goats developed a fully choreographed dance routine to try and avoid being milked.
Day one of putting them on was a little rough, being new to them but they quickly realized they can't tap dance their way out of them. Could have saved a few gallons of milk if I had bought them earlier.
The only down side for me is that I have Nigerian dwarf goats, and it takes a little turning to position the strap where it fits snugly and us fixed to itself. I wish they made a second smaller size for smaller goats, but there is no fault in the current product and DOES work for my smaller goats.

Oh, yeah -- so happy with these! I have a dairy goat who is an artist on the milking stand. She can insert one of her hooves into the milk bucket before I can even blink! These hobbles fit well, are gentle, easy to put on and take off, no rough spots for chafing her legs...and they solve the problem! I felt they were a bit pricey, but they're also the only goat hobbles I could find on the internet...so I guess Weaver can charge what they want! They are well made, with ample wide velcro-type straps for quick release in emergency. I so appreciated that feature one day when this goat decided to hop off the milking stand while her head was restrained in the head key! She almost pulled the stand over on top of her and I was afraid she was going to break her neck in the process! Fortunately she was shaken up a bit but not hurt, and I was able to instantly release her from the hobbles with a quick tug. I expect I'll be buying another pair of these just to have a backup.

It appears to be well made, but figuring out how to use it is a bit of a head scratcher. I got them strapped on to our fussy goat but she still acted up with them on so maybe I didn't get them on right. I found them rather frustrating. Your mileage may vary.

Fantastic! I was going to sell this particular doe, who thought she was in the cast of "River Dance". Now I can milk her safely and will happily keep her in the herd. Why didn't I get these things years ago? Great invention. Just be sure to put them snugly around the hock tendon on the upper rear leg above the joint, not down around the foot/ankle.

The hobbles are very effective at preventing kicking whilst milking my few does. (However, I do have one new girl who now plants her rear end on the ground as her protest! 😊)

This thing didn't work so great for our ornery goat. She hates the feel of it on her legs and so she'll thrash around like a goat gone mad. It's also hard to actually get it on because the Velcro sticks together while you're trying to fit it around the legs.
