Cashel fly masks are expensive, but worth it. They last forever, and are true to size or maybe a bit bigger. Most "draft" sized flymasks don't fit my mare, who has a rather large head (needs XL-draft supplies). Cashel ones fit her, and leave some room to spare. The velcro is very strong, provided you keep the hay out of it.

The flies are horrible at the moment and my horse is very sensitive to them, so he pretty much wears his fly mask 24/7. Between him ripping the mask off himself and his neighbor helping, the mask has surprisingly remained in one piece with no holes. I bought an extra one for back up, but to my delight, I have not had a reason to open the package.

This is a great sturdy mask. I volunteer on a farm for rescued horses and we use these mask pretty much exclusively. Easy to clean too. Unfortunately, somehow, don't know how they do it, but I've witnessed it; the horses can get them off one another! Yes, velcro and all, and people say horses are stupid...NOT.

This fly mask is bulky and difficult to see through. I bought it because the black one would be too hot, absorbing the heat from the sunlight, but this fly mask is not much of a solution. Even though it's light in color, it is stiff and bulky. She hated it. Wasted money as far as I'm concerned.

We have purchased and used many different masks over the years. This is the best, by far. It is stiff and sturdy but does not cause discomfort. The velcro is super strong and points of contact are soft. Washes well too.

This is the second time I've purchased these fly masks for my horses. I really like the size selection. They fit well and hold up pretty well. They last considerably longer than most. The ears are the first to go but that's not unusual. My only complaint is that my horses' forelocks really thin out with these masks. I'd suggest not pulling them through the hole.

LOOOOVEEE Cashel brand masks. I use the heavy grey masks for turnout and the lighter weight black mask for trail riding. My entire herd has their own mask. They work great !!! Happy horses make me happy!

Excelent mask. Very adjustable. After this season our mare's mask looks new. however our gelding shredded his first Cashel so we're hoping he'll be a little easier on this one. He rubs against trees a lot so i don't blame Cashel for the destroyed mask.
