Ordered three of these for our bathroom. I had them all three installed in about 45 minutes. Installation was straightforward. I put tape on my level and placed a pencil mark on it 6" from the end, put the level in the corner of the wall and transferred the 6" mark to one wall. While keeping the level in place in the corner as my hinge point if you will, rotated the level to the opposite wall and again transerred the 6" mark to that wall. I then placed the level ends at each of the marks on the two walls just to make sure they were level with each other. The package includes extra wall anchors and screws. The extra anchors came in handy as four of the six anchors bent before I was able to get them in the hole left by the recommended 3/16" drill bit. The supports make a firm grip on the glass.

Got this to have storage surfaces in a tiny bathroom. I just screwed the shelf-holds into the drywall with the provided anchors and screws. The result is quite a sturdy surface for toothpaste, soap etc. Make sure that you measure the space that you have and compare the dimensions of this shelf before you order.

After deciding I had way too limited a countertop space on my side of the bathroom, I looked all over for some shelves. Local stores had nothing that I wanted, so I began to look online. After narrowing down the choices to 2, I decided on this one because it mounted to the wall with 2 separate brackets (the other choice had one single mounting bracket that mounts in the literal corner).

The half-sheet of directions were only marginally helpful. It had 'figure' pictures to go along with the subtle directions, but neither were very clear. Once we figured out the mounting brackets, it barely took anytime to hang the shelves (we ordered 2). I really like them, and I think they look really nice hanging on the wall. The tempered glass also takes the worry out of glass breakage with sharp shards everywhere!

Delivered on time and well packaged. The half-sheet instructions leave a lot to the imagination of the buyer. Before ordering make sure the angle between the two supporting walls is indeed close to 90 deg; a much wider or, especially, much narrower angle might not allow for a proper installation.

Although the kit came with 2 wall screws, 1.5" long, and 2 anchors per bracket, it is unclear from the instructions that two screws must be used for each bracket. In fact, because: [1] the design of the brackets is such that a single screw through the upper, slotted hole should be sufficient to provide the necessary hold for a shelf loaded with reasonably light items (as one would expect for a glass shelf); [2] a pair of holes for 2 screws to secure each bracket would be sufficiently close to one another to raise the possibility of weakening that area of the dry wall; and [3] using another screw through the lower, round hole of the bracket could lead to non-trivial marring of the wall just under each bracket when clamping the shelf, as discussed below, I decided to install each bracket with only one wall screw through its upper hole, which is reinforced with a rectangular "steel flake".

Note that to mount the shelf firmly, the holding wall screws must be fully tightened. To do this, the brackets' jaws must be sufficiently opened to insert a screwdriver to tighten the wall screws, and such an opening is wider than that needed to clamp the glass shelf in place. The problem here is that once the bracket is firmly mounted on the wall, clamping the shelf by tightening the screw at the lower end of each bracket --a process that moves up the larger part of the bracket's body-- can scratch the underlying wall.Read more ›

The shelves look really nice on the wall, however the wall anchors (drywall anchors) that come with them are a very poor quality. Recommend buying some better quality drywall anchors and not even bothering to use the ones that come with the shelves. Beyond that once I got them secured to the wall properly they look nice and are secure enough to hold several liquor bottles each. Because I had a problem with the wall anchors I had a little bit of a challenge keeping them level. I had to get creative and add another anchor to the back corner of each shelf to hold it securely, it is hidden by the contents of the shelf so you don't see it and after doing so the shelves are very strong.

If installed correctly, a solid attractive shower shelf. You'll need a special drill bit for ceramic tile drilling, about $10. Take your time, measure very accurately, especially the top and lower screw holes for each bracket. That ensures the bracket is perpendicular to the floor, for a level shelf. That said, if this shelf will get water spray from the shower (most will), you'll want the shelf to be slightly angled away from the wall, so it will drain the water away.
I installed 4 of these shelves, and I found that if I made one side perfectly level, and the 2nd bracket VERY slightly lower, the shelf drains well. Nothing will fall off the shelf if you do this, it is a very slight angle. Since the shelf has rubberized coatings on the brackets, you can get away with a SLIGHT elevation change between the 2 brackets when you tighten it. Tighten it slowly by hand!
Even with correct installation, I'm reluctant to put a 2 lbs Body Wash bottle on it with a pump, and pump down on it. The shelf will hold the weight no problem, easily 10 lbs, but pumping down on it everyday? I'm not sure if that would slowly loosen the screws over time. This kind of glass shatters safely, so if the worst happens, you are not in danger!
