OK, so I decided this was a cheaper buy (with free shipping) than getting the elements that I needed separately. The most valuable thing to me in this kit is the 3 in 1 squeegee. It allows you to wrap the lint free cloth and really clean out in between the corners and seams of the windows. The soft side of the squeegee is curved a bit which is OK but you kind of have to push it hard to get a good wipe on flat surfaces.

The window film solution worked well enough, but I've heard reports that you can just use a bit of baby shampoo and distilled water and have the same results. The spray bottle itself worked well and I will save it for when I refill it with home made soap water.

The razor was sharp, the plastic handle light and cheap feeling but it worked fine. Razor blades broke off easily for advancing the edge.

The lint free cloth worked well, but I wish it came with more than one, I'll have to buy another as I totally used that one up and got it all dirty so I trashed it afterward.

I used this kit for my first time doing a window tint and it came out OK, so it worked for me.

After reading the reviews of the window film I was purchasing, I decided to follow everyones suggestion and get the installation kit. It was worth the price for the solution and squeegee. Unfortunately the knife that comes in the kit is terrible. Blade dulls quickly and "snapping" off the dull part to expose a sharper section is less than easy and it never broke away clean.

Do yourself a favor and purchase one of the quality hobby knifes that are advertised on amazon. I found that the X-acto Z series blades held their edge longer and are much thinner, allowing a me to trim tighter to the window edge.

I used this to apply a sheet of tint to a window in my office.

If you're looking to do a single small job this kit is great as it gives you all you need to get the job done without having to search around and acquire all the components or even bring a supply of water and some sort of soap to mount. It's all in the kit.

If you were planning on applying lots of film then perhaps you'll be better off buying higher-quality components individually, as you'll get more use and be able to cover a wider area (assuming you buy a bigger and better squeegee).

This was great of my small job and I had plenty of fluid left over after applying a full 26 x 78 sheet of film to a window.

I bought this mainly because it was listed as a "customers who bought ... also bought" item for a privacy window film product I was also buying. The sprayer and the utility knife were the best parts. The squeegee unfortunately wasn't the best tool for the job, because the film I bought, as part of its frosted appearance, had a slightly uneven surface. This increased friction eventually caused the rubber on the squeegee to start to wear away and leave material behind. As it happened, the window film kit included its own "squeegee" type tool which was all hard plastic, and I had to finish up using that one to avoid making too much of a mess.

So glad I got this kit because it really helped to finish the project I had....three 5' x 3' windows in the living room. Comes with the solution, a knife, a lint-less cloth, and a small squeegee. I used a large hand-held rubber squeegee at first to ensure the whole tint stuck to the window, but it wouldn't take out most of the solution bubbles because the rubber on the squeegee was just too soft. The squeegee in this kit has a rubber edge, but is real stiff such that it will get rid of all the solution bubbles with the pushing of your hands, and the knife has the right thickness on its edges to run down the sides of the windows while cutting the film perfectly straight, and you'll have more than enough solution to spray on.....in my opinion, everything in this kit is exactly what you need!!

It worked great for me! Like a lot of other people notes, the razor blade is very flimsy, but I have a million of those laying around anyways, I just got it for the solution and the squeegee. The solution worked fine, did what it was supposed to, it comes with a full size bottle and I didn't even use half for the whole car so there is plenty left over although I don't know what else it could be used for....
The squeegee was nice, just what I needed. I used this one along with one of the small card sized ones and it was a good combo. I liked this one for the bigger area and my first run on the edges, then I used the other one to fine tune the edges because I just felt that one I could push harder for a tighter application.
I just wish it came with more towels, or a bigger one because even after just my rear two windows, which it's a coupe so they are tiny, my rag was dirty and too wet to do any more. I ended up just taking it inside and rinsing it off a bit then blow drying it, and hey it worked!

I mainly bought this for the liquid application spray and the squeegee. I have my own razor blades already, but I found this one very easy to use sand the blade extending came in handy when cutting the tint.

The squeegee is very useful and nice that it has different sides to help with putting on the tint. The cloth is small and I ended up just using paper towels after using it for a bit.

This kit is a great price and is helpful for beginners to tinting windows. I didn't know where to begin and was a good start, I would recommend after tinting some of my car windows to take your time and make sure all bubbles are smoothed out.
