Oven or gril, this roasting pan gives you the circulation you need to perfectly roast vegetables, meat and even bake bread. I bought two, and they fit side by side on my Weber Genesis grill, one for the meat, one for vegs. I toss the potatoes, carrotts, onions in EVOO and seasoning (Primos garlic hickory)Primo's Gourmet Foods - Garlic Hickory Spice, then set them in the basket. Ribs, brisket, pork, fish or chicken pieces, seasoned, go in the other basket. They go on the grill or in the oven with time and temperatures as required. I place a small flat foil cookie sheet/drip pan under the baskets. This does not interfere with the circulation of the heat. If your technique calls for a period of lid-on roasting, use heavy foil over the pan. Bread? Perfectly baked in this pan, indirectly on the grill. I even burn some hickory chips for more flavor. (OK, I admit it, ! had a few failures before I got the temperature and time right, but we ate the mistakes anyway. Grill temps are notoriously inaccurate, so get a thermometer.CDN High Heat Oven Thermometer) This basket allows oven and grill heat to circulate around and you get a terrific crust! . Most important: This is not a flimsy basket. It is far heavier and thicker than it looks. Easy carry handles too. It will last for many many years. Remember, quallity costs a little more, and its worth it. I just noticed that there are other choices of what appear to be the exact same basket/pan. Look closely. This is indeed an exceptional value! Very easy to clean too. Soak a little and use a soft dish brush to take the crumbs off.

i was surprised at the heft of the materials used in the construction of this mesh pan. It has a very substantial and solid feel, like it is going to last a very long time. It is slightly different from the one in the photo, in that instead of parallel support bars across the bottom, it has the top outer ring, the bottom outer ring, a bottom inner ring, and spot welded cross bars in an X across the bottom going from corner to corner, keeping everything in shape. Very nicely done, at a good price. I posted a photo of the structure.

Update: Looks like the product photo has been updated by the seller to reflect what you get, so nevermind about the structure. Still going great.

This product is very easy to use on a grill and does an excellent job of grilling fish & vegetables. It does get hot but using pot holders you can easily remove it off the grill. My only complaint is that the item is a bit too large and takes up a lot of grill space. At first food sticks a bit to the mesh but with use this problem goes away.

Works well to keep veggies in one place to grill them. The sides give you enough room to turn the veggies over. The only drawback is that you need to wash it right away so that the food doesn't dry within the holes. If you don't you wind up using the grill brush. Either way I would buy again.

This is a great grilling basket! I have a similar product from Pampered Chef that cost me about $10 more and I can honestly say this is a better deal and more practical. We use them both to do our vegetables on the grill and the mesh is very small on this one, so nothing could fall through (which is good and ideal). It has held up also and doesn't look worn. It seems to be very good quality!

I LOVE this basket. Though we haven't used it for meat yet, it is perfect for grilling vegetables and fruit! Now I do not have to cut my vegetables to fit skewers without falling off in the flame. I can grill anything - peach slices (wonderful, by the way,) sweet potato slices, corn on the cob - all without foil! We use this basket at least once a week, often more.

We used this the night it arrived to do onions, squash, carrots, and potatoes to go along with the steak and chicken we were cooking on the Weber gas grill. The multiple burners allowed me to lessen the direct heat and use more indirect heat from the other burners. Beginners luck or just a really good product but the vegetables turned out perfect. Grilled taste with just a bit of crunch. Clean up was very easy as well. This is the real key to any product. If it takes forever to clean it, you will not use it as often. Not a problem here if you spray some olive oil on the surface before grilling.
