I have had this amp for 6 months now, and I have run into zero problems with it. It is built very well, and is solid as a rock. I did a lot of research regarding these amplifiers, and other ac30 variants. There used to be an issue when the tubes were replaced, but vox has solved the issue, and any brand new amplifier will come without the defect. I am glad I went with the hand wired series! This amps features are all very usable, the only downside being that there is not a standby switch. This is easy to overlook though, because the tone you get is amazing. If you are on the fence of getting this, or the Ac30CC2, get this! I was on the fence too, the tone and features are well worth the extra money.

Ice cream sunday without the cherry on top. Considering the actual quality of the hand wired turret board and everything else about this amp this is really quite a well priced item. The only problem is this is the perfect amp with basically no effects included whatsoever. Now I still have to fork out money for that $500 line six stomp box modeller just to do the Vox justice. When I say there are no effects included I mean you don't even get a reverb or even a full distortion effect. The amp does have some gain but no actual distortion. And I mean come on can you really live without some reverb and maybe even a little chorus. So yeah I would encourage anyone to by this amp as long as they also have money to buy some good effects for it.
