This is the simple cable that is only for downloading pictures to your computer. It might work if your TV has a USB input, I have not explored this. It does not come with the VGR and audio plugs on some cables. These would allow you to watch the pictures that are stored on your camera's memory stick on a TV with the yellow VGR plug socket. However, this cable is not bulky like the previously just mentioned multicable. Being not bulky, it can be stored in a simple pocket on a small camera pouch. I find this most convenient since it allows you to take the camera with you with it's down load cable. If it is convenient to take the camera, it is always with you to take pictures. A bulky cable requires a bulky camera bag, one that you would not likely fit in a pocket, or clip to your belt loop. This cable does not snap into place like the Sony cable, hence my 4 star rating, but it does fit snugly and I have never had a problem downloading pictures.

It's cheap, the cable is cheap, but for the price, I wasn't expecting any different. It works great for my camera, the connection is a little tight, but it seems OK.

For the price, you can't beat it.

The only thing is that the part that goes into the camera is a bit snug, but not so snug that you have to force it in and end up damaging your camera. The shipping said that it would come on the 9th-14th, and I got it on the 9th! I am very impressed with how fast it was shipped (:
