Was very pleased to find, and receive, this excellent Scottish Clotted Cream Fudge. I became very fond of Irish and Scottish Fudge during my years in Europe and could not find any locally. Gardiners of Scotland's Clotted Cream Fudge product is very creamy and well flavored - a true treat to the tongue and mind. Do not let "Clotted Cream" put you off - that is the same lovely creamy product that goes on scones with jam... :-)
Amazon continues to surprise me with the wonderful variety of "everything" available online. From adding to my zillions of books, movies and CDs, to a replacement charger for my cell phone to a snow shovel - Amazon has it all.

This Gardiners of Scotland "Clotted Cream Fudge" is incredibly creamy and quite delicious. This has a light flavor but, like like most fudge, it is very sweet. We sent these with my daughter when she went back to college as "comfort food". The tin is nice as well and helps keep the fudge tasting fresh.

Many years ago when we were touring the UK, I was introduced to Clotted Cream--a unique and wonderful experience. Recently I discovered Gardiners available in a celtic shop in Portsmouth NH. I tried it, loved it, and when I got home I ordered more directly from Scotland...a very expensive, although delicious, purchase.

I discovered that I could buy it through Amazon and save on the pricey shipping from Scotland...which makes it possible for me to order it on a regular basis (as long as Amazon continues to make it available). I'm spoiled...this is possibly the best fudge ever!

I really enjoyed this fudge and I am glad I went ahead and purchased as I had read negative reviews that said they were gritty and tasteless but I found them to be creamy with a lovely taste. British and Scottish is more subtle in taste compared to American fudge and if you are used to that you might find these flat until you get used to the more refined taste. I loved these and will order more for xmas.

Soft and very very sweet with very little vanilla flavour. If you want to satisfy a sweet tooth, you will most definitely accomplish that with these sugary morsels that melt in your mouth. If you are looking for flavor, I would not recommend these.

Aaah... These is truly exceptional fudge. If you like fudge you have to try Gardiners. They are, by far, the best brand. I have tried so far at least four or five of their fudge products and all were super. You have to give them a try, and won't regret it.

This fudge struck me as a bit bland. I guess with the words "clotted cream" in the name, I expected a distinct flavor ... and certainly something rich. It's like it's missing something fundamental. Now that I think about it, the taste reminds me of a dish that the cook has forgotten to put the salt in. It's that kind of bland. (It seems that without the salt, none of the other flavors in the dish come to the fore.)
Many may enjoy this fudge, but to me, any run-of-the-mill American fudge would offer a more exciting taste experience.
