I was very unsatisfied. When I recieved the box, there was powder down inside the packaging box. I checked the container, the top was loose and the protective seal was open. I refused to take any chances and threw the entire box and contents away. It was only after I got rid of it that I remembered that I didn't get the contact info. Thoroughly unsatisfied!

It seems like we go through cornstarch by the pound in our house & I've never seen a contain like this in the store. Most flour mixes use it like Artisanal Gluten-Free Cooking One of the best mixes I've used. AS an added bonus for those that recycle we reuse the container for the gluten free flours or chocolate chips once we've opened the bags.

As far as the brand name, Argo has a decent product. I do not know how someone could mess up corn starch but since I have not come across it, I will stick to my views of if it is not broke, do not fix it. The only reason my review is lower than five stars is because of the price. I purchased one pound boxes or tubs of this same brand in my local store for a buck fifty. This particular package is a dash more than two pounds but cost almost nine bucks. Now, I am not mathematician but according to my calculations, two pounds should equal roughly three bucks. I get the convenience of free shipping but paying three times more than the exact same brand and product just seems funny to me. This baby is going back and I will buy six one pound tubs for the same price.

Good stuff. I've been buying this brand of corn starch for years now, and I've loved it. Just bought this extra-large container because I'm tired of going to the supermarket because I ran out of something. Shopping for shelf-stable groceries on Amazon is my way of doing whatever I can to leave the house as little as possible (except for work).

This cornstarch was cheaper per ounce than what I can get in smaller sizes (the only ones available) at local supermarkets. And the 12oz or 16oz size I bought last time lasted me almost 6 months, so this will outlast the lease on my apartment and a whole other year. Buy in bulk, save money, save time driving to grocery store (and paying for gas money). The Internet has already helped millions cut the cord from their cable TV providers - let Amazon help you do the same to your supermarket! =D
