The HUGE label that is HEAVILY GLUED to the FRONT of this product is going to be almost impossible for most people to remove without damage.
I spent two days using everything I could find that removes commercial glue, labels, bumper stickers, etc, without success.
Was ready to return it for refund, when my husband tried a strong industrial solvent he had in his workshop that finally took the glue off.
The canister itself looks like a cheaply made, long tin can with an ugly seam down the back.
Why not glue that huge label over the back seam? Or leave it off entirely & stick a small label on the bottom of the canister, if needed.
I'll just keep it now, after all of the trouble that I went through, but I'd NEVER purchase THIS product again. BUYER BEWARE!

I only received this item yesterday, but it seems to be as advertised, and the handle is certainly long enough to really clean the bowl. The problem is with the printed label on the product. I'm 64 years old and have removed a lot of labels in my time. This was a real challenge. The label is glued onto the product over the label's entire surface and as you can see from the picture, it is substantial. I began by soaking it in the sink (for over an hour). This had little effect. After another hour, I carefully removed as much paper as I could (which was only a slim top layer and took some time. Then I applied glue/gum remover and let it sit. I could rub most of the remaining paper off, and some of the glue. A second application of glue/gum remover was successful. It shouldn't be this hard.

Do you see the manufacturer product label shown in the picture? Take a look at the size. Now imagine it GLUED TIGHTLY to a BRUSHED NICKEL surface. Even using an adhesive remover took forever to remove the label and it ruined the finish. I still don't have it all off. There's no reason for a label that large and certainly no reason to stick it to the surface with what is just short of a permanent adhesive. An entire bottle of Goo-Gone was not completely effective. And none of that should be required. Maybe if I go and buy another bottle of adhesive remover (and a scraper) it will come off. But really, should that be required? I think not. Please be warned.

I bought two of these items for our new house to match the fixtures. Although they work ok, they are very cheaply made. The lids don't fit right and are hard to get on correctly. I expected more for the price. I was very disappointed.

Product is nice except mine came with the label on it that was very hard to remove without damaging the item. I had reviews that said the labels on some of these were not hard to remove----'don't know why they all aren't like that.

Product is handy and looks nice in bathroom.

It's OK. I bought this thinking that this was much like the "Diva Roll Can - Pearl White with Chrome Bottom" but with an all white bottom. Yes, it does have the all white canister with white bottom, but today I just received it and the lid just sits on the top. It does not latch or click on, it just lays there. I bought this hoping to keep the dog out of the toilet paper. LOL I don't know if this is going to work with the lid just laying on top. So if you are trying to keep the dog gone dog out of the toilet paper, than my advice is to pay a dollar or two more and purchase the Diva Roll Can Pearl White with Chrome Bottom where in the customers review it says that the lid latches.

The quality of the metal used is very thin and cheap. However that would of been OK given its just for holding toilet paper, but the large label that comes on the holder is impossible to get off without using a scraper and thus scraping the cheap metal. I tried soap and water, cleaning spray, and acetone. All no help. Returning the item.

It looks like all the positive reviews were from people who purchased the white holder. The chrome holder has the bad reviews.
