I have used this vitamin for two months now, and I have noticed a significant decrease in my hair loss. I also have noticed more healthy looking and fuller hair. My health has been very good, but atmospheric changes may have contributed to some more hair loss. This vitamin has minimized that, and I have noticed it has returned my hair to normal. Thank you for a great product.

I have been taking the Hairomega now for almost 4 months in conjunction with topical Rogaine. I have shaved my head for many years after things went thin up top, but when I didn't I always saw almost a whole head of fuzzy short hair. I have determined to try the Rogaine and Hairomega approach for 12-18 months to see how things end up. After all, I haven't done anything to stimulate or try and regrow my hair for almost 10 years and I think I need to give this more than a few months. Scientists state that there are growth and dormant periods of hair cycle, so I need to give the supplement and Rogaine time to impact my follicles to grow thicker hair (not the very blond to almost clear fuzzies I have now).

Since taking the Hairomega and the Rogaine I have gradually noticed more of my fuzzy hair thickening and filling in. I do take slightly more than the 4 pill dose (I take 2 in the morning with breakfast, 1 with my lunch and 2 with supper). That dosage gives the recommended dosage of Saw Palmetto I have read about and watched about. On a side note, I have noticed that taking the Hairomega has drastically improved my allergy season this spring. I am typically knocked out for almost 2 weeks with runny nose and sinus crud in the spring, but I haven't had anything so far (we live in the South and typically get blindsided by the pine pollen).

So my recommendation would be to take the product with a topical stimulate to address the possible correction (both internally and externally) and GIVE IT SOME TIME. I am so tired of people thinking they can have hair loss, pop a couple of pills and in 3 weeks have a head full of hair. My approach is that my hair follicles have been shrinking for 15-20 years and I at least should give them 12-18 months to begin seeing a turn-around. If it doesn't happen...then I will go back to shaving my head and still be happy. In the end, I will at least know I gave this scenario the best possible chance to work.

I'm 63, in excellent overall health, eat well, and don't take multi vitamins. My hair started thinning about 2 years ago and accelerated about 6 months ago. In the last 2 months the thinning was so dramatic that I could almost see the difference on a daily basis. It hurt to look in the mirror. My initial Amazon search was for a medicinal product like Rogaine or Propecia, not this product. I had no idea any supplement could actually effect hair loss. There were enough good reviews to give it a shot, particularly since it's relatively cheap, doesn't have any outlandish ingredients, and isn't messy or a hassle to use. I didn't expect much, but it was a low risk proposition to buy a 2 month supply. Worst case, I figured it would be like adding a daily vitamin, even if nothing happened up top. I've been taking it as recommended (2 in the morning, 2 in the evening) for 6 weeks without missing a dose. I thought I noticed a slight positive difference after about a week, although that might have just been my imagination and a little placebo effect. No side effects cropped up, such as stomach stuff, headaches, or sleep interruptions. My pee was brighter yellow immediately after taking a dose, which I attributed to the B vitamins listed on the label. Interestingly, it wasn't as neon yellow as when I used to take common daily vitamins. I'd been worried that taking 4 of Anything would end up putting too much of Something in my system, so to me, less yellow pee was actually a good thing. Nothing much happened for the next 3 weeks- possibly a little more hair growth, but nothing significant. The only real positive was that the thinning didn't seem to be getting worse. The big difference came around 4-5 weeks. There was definitely more hair on my head!Read more ›

Super Great product! I also never have time to put into posting reviews. However, I wanted to take the time to post this one because I thought it might really help others struggling with hair loss and/or thinning hair.

I noticed within a short time after using Maxihair that my hair appeared fuller. I have used the product for 6 months now and can say that this product seems to directly impact hair fullness. I think what is happening is that where I already have hair, that more hair is growing in. The problem is that I am trying to have hair regrow near the forehead and temples where I have hair loss (due to hairdressers on two occasions washing out hair color with very hot or scalding water - Keune color is awful - burns and makes your scalp sensitive to water temperature too). So I am afraid the roots and hair follicles have been damaged too much for regrowth. However, I have noticed some small hairs regrowing near those areas, and naturally I am hoping for more. I also religiously take one Maxihair pill per day, and I try to remember to take 2 (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). With my latest order today, I am going to try to take 3 and see if I can get even better results.

I also was advised by my doctor to take Omega 3-6-9 for improved overall health, since I am in menopause, and I also try to remember to supplement with additional Source Naturals Pure Inositol Powder (1/4 teaspoon a day). Just to make a point though, I noticed a distinct improvement just with taking Maxihair, before I took anything else, so I am sure that the Maxihair is great all by itself.
