I have been a fan of mane n tail products since 1989. They changed the formula of the "original" shampoo which irked me so I stopped using it for a little while. I used KMS until they changed their packaging. Then I used Sebastian for awhile. I love Matrix- Smoother but they changed their packaging too so I tried and LOVE Shiseido. I recently tried this one and I love the bright clean scent. It can be a little strong and sweet scented but lots of people like that- Shiseido- Shining is also strongly scented. Not sure if this mane n tail makes my hair grow faster. I do have long hair. It is healthy and shiny and I wash it daily to every other day. Hence the importance of good shampoo and good conditioner. I stopped using mane n tail conditioners because they seemed to weigh my hair down and make if feel oily or at least not as clean. My hair is long, brown, straight, on the fine side, there is a lot of it and I never brush it- meaning NO SPLIT ENDS. Without brushing- good shampoo and superior conditioner are musts. Mane n tail is affordable and does the trick. The original formula- before they changed it and now claim to be selling the "original" is still better. My friends like that one too- they think I smell like apples.
